Not saying I agree with the OP, but come on man. How many people died from smoking in the first 5years? We cant make statements like these because we have no idea what the LONG term effects are yet. IM guessing its far better then smoking, but I cant be 1 of the vapors who acts like its harmless. Hell people thought smoking was pretty harmless for decades.

Yes PG/VG are in the things youve listed, but arent inhaled to the extent that most of us vape at. Inhaling amything but good clean air isnt good for us and we know that, so why do so many of us assume that vaping is harmless. Pg/VG might be harmless, but what about the flavors. We already know about dicetyl, but what about stuff we dont know about. For all we know this could be far worse then smoking, it just hasnt been around long enough to make any blanket statrments.

Combustion implies burning. Vaporizing liquid does not require burning, just enough heat to vaporize the eliquid. Two totally different concepts.
