MAP Tank + KR808D1 = Awesomeness

OK, so I've done the Dual Coil tank mods and they are great! Recently though, I've gotten into the KR808d1's and loving the amount of vapor they produce. So next step.. KR808d1 tank mod I don't know if its been done yet, just wanted to share my new found vaping love.

as soon as i get my adapter i'm going to put a bloog carto (808) in a tank, and rock it on my lava tube.

are your 808's horizontal coils? is punching the hole any different? can I leave the sticker on the carto if in a tank?

Yes my coil is horizontal, and punched the hole just like with a 510. I did remove the sticker and clean it very well, don't want that stuff tainting your juice.

Can anyone recommend a 510-901 adapter that WORKS?!

I got one from liberty flights, and it just dosn't connect. I tried screwing the innards to raise the post, but it doesn't seem to work.. the whole innards on both side rotate when I do.

For refrence, I'm tring to connect a bloog krd808-1 carto to a 510 threaded lava tube.

Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

Popeye try doing the staple mod it's sticked at the top of the page when u first enter the modding section of the forum .. I have a provari and a 510 to 901 adapter that used to give me problems.
That staple mod did the trick for me !

I use this one: 510 to 901/808-D Adapter

Works great with Bloog/Volt cartos on the Provari. It should work fine on the LT.

This adapter works awesome and adds practically zero length. Buy two for when you forget what carto you left it in cause it will look exactly like a 510 carto. 510 to 901/808-D Shorty Adapter

I've been using 808s in tanks for a few weeks. Pure awesomeness. V4l is selling 808 tanks now but I've had bad luck with all the cartos. 2 good tanks shells though. I punch with a saddle punch from Lowe's. Volts peel real easy and hear Elite Vaporworks do too. Haven't used the bloogs but I imagine any sticker will come off if you really want it to.
