Ok, did a few things, but I'm even more confused now. I'm leaning towards a bad carto though.

I test the resistance on the battery connector end and got 2.7-2.8 ohms (on a what should be a 2.4).

I then watched Chris's how-to video and gently popped the pin out of the bottom to empty out my juice. I then put the pin back in, but left it protruding a bit, still won't fire.

Sounds like a bad top part (coil?) to me.

Talked to Bruce, what an amazing guy. He's got me covered.

Got a new Map tank and it's working great, putting out some serious plumes w/ the 2.4 version on my GGTS w/ a single 3.7v 18650. This is coming from someone who is used to 3.7 w/ a 2.0 or 1.5ohm LR306.

here is a pic of it on a GGTS, all I can say is...HOT

A 20 gauge needle works well; A 21 or 19 would work too. If your juice is thicker I'd opt for the 20/19. Try Tractor Supply, CVS, etc. They'll have them.

You can remove the top grommet and do about a 3/4 fill then replace the grommet would be the only way I can think of. You might be able to pick up a syringe at a local farm supply store or a CVS or WallGreens also

Good thing too because three stops at different pharmacies turned up nothing. You have to have a script to get needles, not to mention the "are you a crack addict" look on the faces of everyone around...lol By far the best vape I have had since starting!

Thanks! The first picture is the Indulgence with the mini battery tube (18350 batt), The second is the Silver Vein Omega (18650 batt). The tip is just a clear DT.

Looks really good.. What tip is that and Battery you are using.... That setup looks sweet with the Map Tank!

Last week I ordered the Storm tank mod because I kept missing out on the Map tank mod.
Of course, a couple days later I caught the map tank in stock and ordered one of those.
Well, a couple days ago the Storm came in and I wasn't too impressed to be honest.
I could see where a lot of people had trouble with these leaking. The cap assembly is very
finicky and while I was struggling to get that on properly the body was sliding up and down on the bottom plug. I managed to get it all together and it seems to be leak free. I don't know if I'd want to put that to the test or not, but I don't plan on carrying these around anyways, I'll probably use the clearomisers for that once people start showing a little more success with them. Unfortunately I think I got a V3 CE2 with mine because it definitely wasn't wicking well and I used one of my thinner juices. ( no icky taste but the coil looked tight, to be fair though I may have pushed the wick down a little trying to get the mouth piece on ) To add insult to injury, I couldn't get it off the batty. The body was sliding around while the plug wasn't budging. I finally got it off using needle nose pliers.

Needless to say, I was feeling a little used and abused, and was waiting with more than a little trepidation for my Map to come in. It came in today and my first impression was that it was definitely machined and very professional looking. ( no offense Stormy, I know I couldn't have done any better trying to cut those pieces by hand )The ceramic cup was off center just a hair but I filled it up with the top grommet off, no need for syringes or any drama just poured the juice right into the tank. The top grommet went on with no fuss and I put one drop of juice in the cup before putting my drip tip on. I let it sit for about ten minutes and gave it a try.

Hallelujah, I finally got a CE2 that didn't taste nasty or dry up after the first vape. I could take 3 vapes in a row off this thing with no burnt taste. It is only 2.4 ohm ( only one they had ) so it is a little too warm ( dry? ) for me, and the flavor was a little washed out, but I am using cinnabun and it doesn't have a real kick you in the mouth flavor to begin with. As I sit here typing this novel ( sorry, I don't get out much  ), I have been vaping away at my usual pace without even thinking about it and have not had any burnt or dry wick taste! All the parts fit snug and I don't see any leaking, even after doing the upside down shake. While I don't think I would leave this laying on its side for any long length of time, I would have no qualms about laying it down for a few minutes if I needed to. The vapor production is good. I am not one for taking big monster draws and I still get a pretty good plume of vapor. Kudos to Bruce and MAP! :vapor:

Bruce, on a side note, I have seen a few users comment about the awkward appearance of the Map tank. I have a killer idea for a box mod that should appeal to anyone. Contact me. ;)
