Thanks for the contest imeo yeah I think really that eye in the second picture you posted gave it away :D

imeo however you run your contests is fine I mean how many manufacturers do such a cool thing...non!! only imeo offers someone a chance every month to win a top of the range PV.

And when you work out the cost of these, 12 a year its a lot to give away for free :D

Guys, I am really trying to make a fair contest. I desided to change the rules because I had some complains when contest was running like "first that founds, win". Now I see complains again. So if someone has a better way to run the contest I can listen. :)

I will give the GGTS for free either so the way that the contest will run doesnt bothers me, I just want to have a fair contest.

Ok, the man on the photo is the first man that went to the moon and of course is Yuri Gagarin

ok my mistake clavit !

I will also give some info for every important person to those contests because we all need some education

Yuri Gagarin was born in the village of Klushino near Gzhatsk (now in Smolensk Oblast, Russia), on 9 March 1934. The adjacent town of Gzhatsk was renamed Gagarin in 1968 in his honour. His parents, Alexey Ivanovich Gagarin and Anna Timofeyevna Gagarina, worked on a collective farm.[1] While manual labourers are described in official reports as "peasants", this may be an oversimplification if applied to his parents — his mother was reportedly a voracious reader, and his father a skilled carpenter. Yuri was the third of four children, and his elder sister helped raise him while his parents worked. Like millions of people in the Soviet Union, the Gagarin family suffered during Nazi occupation in World War II. His two older siblings were deported to Nazi Germany for slave labour in 1943, and did not return until after the war. While a youth, Yuri became interested in space and planets, and began to dream about his space tour which would one day become a reality.[2]

After starting an apprenticeship in a metalworks as a foundryman, Gagarin was selected for further training at a technical high school in Saratov. While there, he joined the "AeroClub", and learned to fly a light aircraft, a hobby that would take up an increasing portion of his time. In 1955, after completing his technical schooling, he entered military flight training at the Orenburg Pilot's School. While there he met Valentina Goryacheva, whom he married in 1957, after gaining his pilot's wings in a MiG-15. Post-graduation, he was assigned to Luostari airbase in Murmansk Oblast, close to the Norwegian border, where terrible weather made flying risky. As a full-grown man, Gagarin was 1.57 metres (5 ft 2 in) tall, which was an advantage in the small Vostok cockpit.[1] He became Lieutenant of the Soviet Air Force on 5 November 1957 and on 6 November 1959 he received the rank of Senior Lieutenant

Imeo.. this might be an idea.. if you are doing the lottery thing,, is PRIOR to doing the drawing.... post the list of the people that made the correct guess (if multiple members did of course)

then give it time for members to check and see if you made a mistake.

This will prevent you naming a winner and causing false excitement if a mistake is found, and you had to do the lotto over again.

just a suggestion

Imeo, please don't take my post as a complaint because it's not, it was a joke, you wrote the rules before start and there is not place to complaint.
Also I am grateful you do a contest every month, do it the way you like more, as you said the end result is the same, you will give away a top quality item for free.

Again, Thanks you for a great contest, I follow every month because it's also funny.

I still think I should be the winner because I was the first one to write the correct answer and everyone did a copy and paste:-x

thanks Joseph for this. I also understand the frastuation of the first man that makes the right guess, I would feel the same! Unfortunately this .......*g life is never fair for all of us.

Video is ready and the winner is picked up. But I am waiting to see if anyone has an objection for the names I post on that list. If not, I will post the video. After video no complains are allowed. Is that ok?

I also found that excel has the ability to pic random numbers from a list so there is no reason for me to make small pieces of papers with the names of the winners on them and pic a paper. So I will make a video with an excel sheet that will pic the name we need.

I like the small pieces of paper...but of course I won with you doing it that way. thanks again imeo, for a great and fun contest!

cheers,

Regardless of the way these contests are run, they are definitely the most exciting.

Yeah, I have told Imeo that these contests are one of the highlights of my month -- which either says the contests are great or my life is not as satisfying as I used to dream it would be!!!!

FWIW, the lottery came about after my friend buGG (blame him!!!:p) guessed the right answer on the third post(8-o), not near long enough contest to give away a GGTS!!!!:thumb:
