thats what i wanted to know... good.
you know, some like 801's even love the slightly airy draw that often occurs with 801 imo...?
the iatty IS airy; unless you control the air flow/ draw... sorry if i already posted that. but as you know the GGTS has the collector tank with air draw control.
If it's on a say Provari, you have to get an o-ring over the connector part of iatty... but again, some like it that way.

I don't find the Mark-T a particularly airy draw. No air comes in the bottom of the atomiser connector as it's a solid part, so the only air comes in the side of the atomiser and it performs differently depending on the orientation of the hole. Everyone's tastes and preferences differ so it's almost impossible to tell if it will suit you. Mark has limited production capacity so I doubt it will be hard to get rid on the second-hand market if you purchase one and really can't get on with it - although we'd obviously prefer everyone who buys it to be completely happy with it.

When it comes to making your own coil on a rebuildable atty, its pretty tricky I'm learning. So many factors come into play such as size of the coil, exact position of the coil and airflow. All affect the taste. I like that this takes away one factor which is wrapping the coil, letting you focus on all the other parts of the build.

Indeed, I have spoken to a lot of people who really like the idea of repairable atomisers, and whilst the normal ones really aren't that difficult, it is a bit of a faff, specially for people with dexterity problems (a lot of my customers have informed me they do have this issue so repairable atties are totally out of the question).

Now, this pre-wound wick doesn't solve all those issues, because you still have to be able to screw it in there, but it really does make very very short work of it. I love it!

I've got a tester lined up who has pretty much every single other repairable atomiser currently available (plus some that were never generally available) who is going to give me their thoughts on it, so if there's any useful info in terms of draw comparisons to help people decide if it's for them or not, I will certainly pass that information on.

I also have a tester who successfully used another system but found it tricky to build the coils, so again, there should be some interesting feedback there as well.

I do find that the flavour and vapour do alter a fair bit depending on the orientation of the hole during vaping, as is the case with a 901, but even more so with the Mark-T when dripping.

P.S. Sorry if I was a bit over-defensive earlier, I am sure you can understand what prompted it. :)

I have a few different rebuild-able's myself, gonna hold off on the names but a lot of what makes these fun is experimenting with different types of wicks, like using the XC-116, SS Mesh, combo's of both, as well as even modding the stock wicks in different ways. Some of the flavors you get by doing this are the best I have ever experience while vaping, this Mark-T should be a lot of fun trying a few different set ups, really looking forward to this Rebuild-able Atty myself, it can't get here fast enough Lisa !

I agree, the fun is changing things up, finding that ultimate build. Its kind of like VV mods, tinkering and experimenting with different juices at different voltages. Just ordered 6 different wire gauges last night of Kanthal and Nichrome along with some of the XC-116 wick. The possible combinations are fun to chase 8)

You are very right! Half the fun is in the playing with different setups. For some people, they just want the easiest option, and the pre-wound element provides that, and for those that love to experiment like yourself, there are many different wick and wire options out there to play with. :)

more true then you could imagine: $182 in the last 3 days ordering all kinds of things to build all kinds of types of attys. Not counting the 4 different rebuildables themselves. But I'm still proud of myself, I have not purchased a new PV in almost 3 weeks 8)

Presumably you've bought large quantities of wire and wick that perhaps you can re-sell onto other users?

Multiple gauges of wire, multiple types of wick, Butane torch, soldering iron, lead free solder, lil screwdrivers, tweezers, snips, Multiple types of SS mesh (not cheap), Non resistance wire, Latex gloves, magnifying glass.

The most expensive stuff was the SS Mesh, followed by the Nextel wick, then multiple types of fiberglass and silica wick from a bunch of different places (never know gotta try them all !).

Once you start building you own attys, there are all kinds of options you can address, but it might require different parts.

1) more wraps of high gauge wire for greater surface area
2) Wicking properties of certain wick types with certain # of wraps
3) SS mesh as a wick all by itself, or just as a reusable feeder tube to another type of wick
4) Dual coil attys, maybe triple coil !
5) Kanthal performance vs Nichrome
6) Best type of wire to use with High VG mixes vs high PG
7) Best type of wick to use with high VG mixes vs high PG
8) less wraps of lower gauge wire to quicker heating times

Options !! so many options! Still finding it cheaper then buying 2 of every atty or carto that gets made. That has been a huge expenditure over the last year. Now with the rebuildables we have the option to experiment and make our own perfect atty. A chunk of money up front, but how many total types of attys can a person make? LOTS

Its like DIY juice making, may require an extra effort up front and lots of experimenting, but no one can make that perfect custom tailored juice other then yourself.

DIY Juice + DIY rebuildable attys + VV mod---- infinite!

Off topic but since there are some Brits here, can you chat a bit about vaping in London and UK?

How common us it?
Can you vape on the Tube (subway) ?

Are their London retail store fronts like your Tea shops?

Can you vape in your Pub (bar)

Lived in London briefly in the last century, jolly good people

Thanks from across the Pond
