Yes the CE2 wick is quite durable and with a lighter the crud can be burned off and it will return to white again.

Is there a place where these types of CE2 wicks can be bought in the US (COV?) or anywhere else in bulk? Only place I knew of for wicking material is the Wick Store and I just ordered some, but now I am thinking it won't be that good if I can't dry burn it like I can with the CE2's?

Thanks,

antytime ED:)

You saved me from ordering the other wicking material (I was able to cancel order) as I truly love the CE2 wick and being able to burn or torch it clean.

If you can't tell I am sooo new at this DIY atty and still trying to learn about all the materials and such :)

I no longer use xc-116 wick. I have wild cough from this wick.
First became coughing slowly, but then more and more. Replaced on CE2 wick -no cough. Again put the xc-116 - cough. CE2 back - no cough. And so several times. The fluid used the same for the purity of the experiment. So although ceramics and tastier and works better, but I don't want to cough, no more.:(
