On the Awesome Vapor website Link

“PLEASE NOTE” We are sorry to say, in regards to our expected arrival of out of stock e-liquids, we were informed June 7th that our shipment was seized by customs. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated release date of the shipment. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will cause for our customers. We value you and appreciate the patience you have shown to us as your supplier. Please know we will post regular updates here if there are any changes. Thank you for your understanding.

I've been dealing with Awesome Vapor for several years
and they carry my favorite flavors. Awesome Vapor also has
a brick and mortar store and has been doing a landslide business.

FDA/Customs up to their old tricks again ??
Of course, our government couldn't care less about laws.

Anyone know of other marketer's shipments being seized ??

Of course, this may be an isolated incident unrelated to the shipment being e-liquid, but paranoid cynic that I am, can't help thinking this is FDA up to their old tricks, harassment via the back door. Where's Judge Leon when we need him?!

Perhaps a post on the General E-Smoking Forum might result in more answers re other seizures?

The reasons for this can be different - greater number of goods than declared, container full with other undeclared goods, etc. Don't always seek for an FDA conspiracy, could be importer's fault.

This. There is a reason why international import/export specialists, contract writers (which actually aren't usually lawyers funny enough) are paid so much. There are so many things that can hold up a shipment (receiving or sending) regardless of what the actual cargo is. Besides the reasons stated above, it could be something else that another party was shipping but because it was part of the same overall shipment, everything gets tied up.

The update on the marker's website was changed ... Yes
All they did was re-word it ... dropping the phrase
"our shipment was seized by customs"
Not good PR to say this ... on a commercial website

As soon as customs releases the shipment ....
The update will be removed because once again the marketer
will be fully stocked.
