ProVari ($159 without extras) with 2x18650 batteries & 2x14490 batteries + charger + extension = $240

Flagship Phidias w/ inlays through the endcaps = $165 + batteries

Flagship Phidias = $155 + batteries

Monkeyboxx = $110 + batteries

Reo Grand = $145 + batteries

IMO...worth every penny!

Lost track long ago. Many Mods have come and gone many still here many more to buy :)

Cost not sure, We (Wife and I) had a $400.00 + smoking habit and I have used that budget up most months for the past 9 months and then some.

So rough cost in 9 months $3,600 But I am a bit of a Mod Junky LOL :)

All well worth it as long as we are not smoking I am $ ahead of the game in med bills down the road. Doc said lungs are clearing up and I am in better health then a year ago.

What Would I pay for a good mod, $100.00 -$200.00 Pending if its a juice mod or battery mod. (Or just cool)

not sure about everyone else, but I couldn't pay over 120 for a mod. and that includes batteries.

I suppose never having bought a mod before I am a bit biased on how much I would spend lol

I thought the same thing a few months ago, but I changed my mind!
The mods I have, have taken the work out of vaping and left me with the pleasure!
They cost a few bucks, but I was spending the money on analogs anyway!

You can buy a cheaper one or make one yourself to start and try one out...maybe you'll change your mind.

I spent $85 on my BB. When I bought it back in June, that was what I was willing to spend. I currently have that mod and an eGo kit, (for more discrete vaping).

I've been thinking about treating myself to a quality juicebox mod in May, when I'll have been off analogs for a year. I'll be comfortable spending $150-ish on that.

I am definitely not a mod collector. Reason #2 for getting off analogs was to save money. Similar to the situation MXBNW mentioned above, my wife and I were $420, seven-carton-a-month smokers. And that just had to stop.

As of now I have not purchased a mod, but would not mind spending close to the $225 range for one that will last. Of course that $225 is for a full setup (charger, batts, atty, carto's). After I have the charger, batts, atty's and carto's, I wouldn't spend over $150. Just can't decide between the provari or the v3.1. I hate making decisions without seeing the product first hand.

That's my main problem. With so many mods out there, I don't have a clue on what to get, 5v, 3.7v, VV, box, juice box, tube, metal, wood, plastic, etc

Starter kits were easy. All the same voltage, only real choice was mah lol.

ProVari Nirvana
Generic e-cig - $90
eGo - $59
GLV2 Mini - $120
ProVari (classifieds) - $195
ProVari (new - backup) - $265
Juice, cartos, attys, supplies - maybe $500

And I'm thinking I might want to get a Darwin, just to try it out. They're $240. I've easily blown my budget for cigarettes, considering I've only been using this instead of cigs for a little over a month, but I've found what makes me happy, and the GLV2 Mini, while I didn't use it at all, has gotten my little sister of cigs (she loves the blue-purple flip flop color and the vapor and throat hit) and the eGo went to my BIL, her husband, to get him off them. If I get a Darwin and like it, I'll sell one of the ProVaris, if I get it and decide I like the ProVari better, I'll sell the Darwin. They hold their value if turned over quickly, so I won't be out much. I have juice and cartomizers to last me for a few months, which will allow me to catch up on money saved, and then it's all profit.

See if there's someone close to you who has one or both of the kind you're looking at and arrange to meet him/her. I wouldn't mind driving a bit to show someone my ProVari, if they were interested in buying one but wanted to experience it first-hand. I plan to use my backup to demonstrate to people who want to try one.

Started with a regular 510, moved to a Riva, bought an advance years' worth of juice and atties, and now am jumping on a Darwin. I'm not the richest person out there, but if a mod really does what I'm looking for, and will last me at least a year, I would spend 250+ on it... I'm just not going to buy more than 1-2 mods/yearly. I've used the same Riva kit for MUCH longer than I wanted to just deciding on which of these new mods to get.

Bottom line, if the mods fits all my needs... price would hardly matter to me.
