Well, that is all well and good. But there is NO law in the UK that states I cannot use up to, but no greater than, 75mg. The UK poisons act states such.
I resent being spoken down to like i'm some kind of kid that needs to be tutored on what is best for me. I'm sick of it.
I understand that the 'board' needs to bow to the ....ers that are bought and paid for by big pharma. But that doesn't change my personal position on the subject. They can sit and spin, as I know that my position is the moral one.

I do understand because a HUGE portion of the user base is US based, if not the majority.

If a US citizen visits the UK, it is UK law that they are bound by during their stay ;)
Like I said, I do understand the board's position. They are between a rock and a hard place. But that doesn't mean I have to agree with it.

I am in agreement. PG is a hell of a lot cheaper than nic-laced PG, but whatever huh!

PG is cheaper than nic-laced PG but pure Nicotine is a lot cheaper than either of the previous two. :thumb: Yet you don't want to mess with it, better to let others mix it and sell it too you diluted.

Planet,--Just to clarify, this Forum is based and operates from the US, not the UK anymore.

So are mods going to delete old posts with references to nic levels or 36 mg or more? I really hope not since we will lose a lot of valuable info such as recipes and reviews.

I would like to know the true motivation behind this. Are the peeps at ECF afraid of getting sued? Is this a PR move? I know it's not to avoid prosecution (or it shouldn't be) because discussion of nic levels would be considered protected speach, just like discussions of illegal drug use on other forums.

If the motivation really is "it's for your own good" then I deeply resent the implication that I am not responsible enough to take the necessary safety precautions to work with potentially hazardous substances.

I think its a safety measure. Not an insult.
I disagree.
An example of a safety measure that is not insulting would be advising me to used protective clothing and eye protection, clean my workspace thoroughly, and store any potentially hazardous materials well out of the reach of children and pets.
The decision just to ban discussion for safety reasons is implying that we can not be trusted to take the proper safety precautions or avoid substances that we do not feel like we can handle safely. This is insulting.

I understand that this forum is private property and the owners can make any rules they deem necessary.

I can understand the safety reasons behind it, but I would think they should have a place for people to converse about higher strength nicotine for those who have the knowledge of how to handle it, but the site has to protect itself. I would rather be restricted than not have ecf at all cause someone who didn't know what they were doing got themselves killed.

Also I didn't know that you couldn't ship high strength nic in the US....I should keep up on laws it seems :( (just when I was going to get into diy.....ugh)
