Exactly...and this is why we in rescue work so damned hardI am not going to quote every post here about it
.. I just cannot understand how anyone could be cruel to an animal or a child.
I just do not understand.. It seems simple to me .. if you cannot handle one then do not get or have one or the other?
Sadly they didnt have any more or i would grab you one

Too funny!! When Homie notices that I am getting ready for bed he gets up on my side and puts his head on my pillow. I have a nice, warm spot every night! That was taking up Jims 1/2 of the bed last night...he does this every night while Jims doing his insulin....he jumps up and stretches out to fill up the other side. Then he pretends to be asleep like that until Jim rubs his belly.
Whoa! You should get some kind of reward $$ for slowing him down, lol!So, went to a store today to return some stuff and got knocked on my .... by a shoplifter bolting out the door. I was lucky enough to roll out of the way of the security guard chasin em, was crazy.
Lol...they're all confused tonight. Jim slept this afternoon and went back in to clear out more Halloween clearance, stock more Christmas stuff, and clean the cooler. He should be home about 4, nap for a bit, and then we'll take the kids to the dog park.Too funny!! We paid $1,200 for Holly, and that's because she was young and small. Biscuit was older and he is a mix (half Pom, half Silky Terrier, but he looks all Pom, except his coat on the sides grows long and hangs down like a Silky) so he was $750. Pet stores around here ask anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 for Poms.I think my most expensive I paid $200 for the pomeranian I got from a breeder when I was 16. She was selling her cheap without papers because she was a very small runt. She ended up having a lot of health problems over the years and was diabetic. She passed about 5 years ago. Everyone absolutely loved her, though. She greeted everyone with a smile and jumped on their feet, lol.
I got all three of my cats on craigslist. Oreo I got at a little over 3 months old from some gal who got her and then found out that her son was allergic to cats and Oreo was causing asthma attacks. She was free. My two calico Persians, Dolce and Coco, I got from some breeder who wanted to get rid of them and I guess thin out her cattery? Coco was already almost 3 years old and Dolce, her daughter, was about 4 months old. She charged me an adoption fee of $500 for both of them (or $300 if I only adopted one) to cover the cost of the spay. Most of my pets are adopted/rescues as well. My oldest pair of cats were found as feral kittens that their mom had gotten hit by a car. They were 4 weeks old when we found them and were eating trash. They are 11 now. The younger pair came from a cat that was dumped and had kittens on my porch. Charm and her siblings were dumped at the pet store I used to work for. Chinchilla was a classroom pet that wasn't properly cared for - one of the kids took her home for the summer and gave her away to get proper care.I did buy Dax, but he was worth it.

My FT order late last night showed no change, but by this afternoon it showed that it arrived in NY and arrived in the Flushing NY post office. The next step will be arriving north in Albany before coming back south to me, but I have no idea how long that could be. In the past I've seen it take one day to do the trip, and I've also seen it take five days to make the trip.My stuff made it to St. Louis...odd, it usually goes from Chicago right to Dallas...still scheduled for Friday
According to my MiFit I took a 3-1/2 hour nap today and I also walked almost 10,000 steps. Ummm, nope. Wrong on both counts, lol! I have no idea what that's all about.Lol...they're all confused tonight. Jim slept this afternoon and went back in to clear out more Halloween clearance, stock more Christmas stuff, and clean the cooler. So... my stomping and having a hissy fit DID work!!!My FT order late last night showed no change, but by this afternoon it showed that it arrived in NY and arrived in the Flushing NY post office. LOL! That would make total sense except I have been busy all day driving people places and picking them up! It's weird. I hope it doesn't mean my MiFit is wearing out. I am not trying to buy another one right now. I almost have the spare bedroom updated for when Austin comes home but I still need a navy blue comforter and a Seahawks wastebasket to pull it together. Don't have extra dollars for another MiFit!!Walking in your sleep???
I need to get upstairs and get a room ready soon, too! Still don't know when they're coming...but I better be ready. Knowing them, I could only have one day of warning...lolLOL!
