Ugh, It's so frustrating! I have never had a place where I couldn't change things up if I wanted to. I ended up putting everything back like it was this morning. The tree is in it's regular tree corner. At least now I don't have to worry about adding more lights. If I was able to sit and stare at it I would put a ton more on there but since it's not in my line of site it can hang out with just a single strand. If the prelit ones hadn't gone south (just the bottom 2 sections. The top still lights up) it would be a lot better. I forgot it was like this and that I wanted to replace it this year for that reason. I think I will just throw it out this year so I don't make the same mistake again next year.
Lmaoooo...I'm gonna end up with a 2' tabletop one...will probably go on top of my antique stereo cabinet where some one can't eat it! Jim bought 2 strings of purple lights that were halloween clearance, so I'll do that and some snowflake and husky ornaments, and call it a day!

I probably wouldn't even bother this year...but the kids are coming, so I feel I should make some sort of effort

My fasttech package took the short route. It just arrived at my local post office this morning, so I'll be getting it today.
Mine arrived @ North Houston sorting center about 2 this morning...sometimes it gets here same day, sometimes the day after.

I think that sounds lovely.

I have no idea what I am doing for a tree.

With normally just the 2 of us and Jim working crazy retail holiday hours, a small one makes more sense. I'd like to find a nice fresh cedar wreath for above the fireplace...I do miss that about Kansas! There was a Boy Scout troop that set up at the grocery store down the street and they had fresh trees, wreaths and swags. I lived the smell of the parking lot during December!

A small one does make more sense! It is just hubby our 20 yo son and I.
Not sure how Rio would do with a tree?

Got my Pure tanks just under two hours ago. Set up one tank already. The top and bottom hardware was connected super tight again, but this time I was able to wrench them apart without cracking the glass. Primed the coil, filled up the tank, and promptly the coil flooded and filled up the coil and the bottom hardware (it's a good thing it is top airflow and not bottom), so half the tank emptied. Took the tank apart, rinsed everything out and put it all back together. Filled the tank back up and it looks like the leaking stopped. Hopefully it is just a fluke and not a bum coil.

Neither of mine were tight on top...and I was worried about that. Is yours just a bad coil???

My 2 old dogs were fine with the tree, but once we got Max added to the mix... forget it. The tree survived, but I caught max and Blizz both chewing on the lights and a few ornaments.

Rio loves to chew branches in the yard so I imagine he would think that a tree is just one big chew toy for him!

I saw that Freemax is warning people about ordering the Pure from FT and other sites because they are clones. Would that mean that the coils from them are also clones?

I was worried about the tree last year when Homer was 6 months old but it actually survived! I was positive he would chew on it or barrel into it but he didn't. This year he hasn't paid any attention to it at all so far. :)
