Consider trying the DSE906 from Apollo E-cigarettes | High Quality Best Price Ecigs It sells for $49 and is IMO a very good match for the Bloog MaxxFusion. No PCC yet, but the price, the quality, and the customer service is fantastic.

Apollo Extreme Starter Kit
1. This starter kit contains the DSE906 e-cigarettes which use cartomizers with the latest 2-piece design and technology.
2. There are two 280mAh batteries and 5 cartomizers in the kit
3. Apollo 906 e-cigarette has extra long battery and cartomizer - total length is 123mm
4. Apollo 906 e-cigarette offers about 300 puffs
5. The kit also includes a USB charger, a wall adaptor, and a car charger
6. 5 FREE cartomizers with flavors of your choice
So how is this a better deal than CigEasy's $40 KR808D-1 starter kit (or LiteCigUSA's $35 two batt/one carto KR808D-1 Automatic Starter Kit + $7 five-pack of Kr8 cartos)? And what is the DSE906? A Kr8-compatible, an E9, something totally different?

I'm not sure why you compared this model to the regular KR8's rather than to the MaxxFusion since that was the focus of my post. It is not a standard KR808 any more than a Bloog is. So far, I am finding the DSE 906 to have the same qualities of the Maxx Fusion. It is something different, not KR8 cart compatible. It uses the same charger as the Bloog; its carts are larger; it delivers throat hit and flavor similar to the Bloog, but it costs less. I am alternating between the Bloog and the DSE and find both equally satisfying. Since I have only had it for a week, the jury it still out, but if it continues to deliver as it is now, I will be very happy. The carts are more expensive on the site, but there is free shipping. So, a pack of Bloogs goes for $10.99 with $5.95 shipping. A pack of these is $15 with free shipping. Also, the car charger is included, and there is a 1 year warranty. Is that true of the KR808's?

I'm getting a Bloog kit as soon as the one I want is back in stock. This sounds great. I've got V4L stuff and gave up on them. I'v heard great stuff about the Bloog and this thread just sealed the deal for me. I need something that is less conspicuous when I am out and about. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my mods, LEO and fat batt.'s but sometimes I need somthing that is more "norm".

Like when I go to my grandparents house. They know about my vaping and they are very supportive of it (they've seen my KR8 stuff) But if I was to go over there with one of my mods, they would think I was on drugs! LOL. I also tend to miss the feel of something between my fingers and I would love to have that option, in something that really performs.

Thanks Don, for the great review! :)

i have never understood why people who review these ciggs, always have to blow the vapor straight into the camera? wouldnt show the vapor better if you turn your head 90 degrees and blow it straight sideways? after watching countless of video review, the amount of vapor a certain cigg produces doesnt tell me anything by blowing it straight into the cam...maybe its just me

How does the MaxFusions performance compare to that of an automatic 510 battery with a 2.0 ohm Boge carto?
I have been curious about the Bloog but given the higher price and lower availability...
I suppose I'll try one someday, but I'll be disappointed if it only performs slightly better.

definitely better... since i got the MF the auto 510s have been sitting in a drawer. vapor production is only slightly better compared to lower ohm 510 cartos, but battery life given the vapor production and no primer puff definitely set it apart.

"slightly better" depends on what juice you are using as well, the boge 2.0 ohm can accept a wider range of viscocity. Total cost has to be taken into consideration as well...the total lifespan on these tiny batteries is 3 months according to Leaflord...and I would say 5 months max....To replace a 510 battery you spend 8 bucks if you shop around a bloog battery 20 bucks....knowing that they will break down makes me consider the 510 180 mah for 8 bucks worth the 40 mah gain on a bloog mini 20 bucks battery. I will just buy two batteries and still spend less than a bloog.

That being said you do get 40 more mah for the cost hike, and an improved automatic switch. However I don't need primer puffs on 2.0 ohm cartos.

No primer puff needed on the MaxX Fusion either.

There are some apples and oranges in your comments. The 180 mAh 510 is 112mm long (i.e., a mini category e-cig); the MaxX Fusion with 220 mAh "Mini" battery is 103mm long (i.e., a super-mini). The mini-sized MaxX Fusion (117mm) has a 320 mAh "Standard" battery.

And then some of the discussion here has been between the two types of vapers that exist in the world: 510 loyalists (i.e., most of you) ... and the rest of us.;)

MY 510 with cartomizer is 101 mm long....maybe if your rocking it with an atty and a cart its 112mm long.

Thanks, Golden! I never realized that the 510 batt with carto was that small. If you like that battery and that cartomizer, that is what is important. [The DaBoomVape seal of approval is only important for vapers whose tastes are the same as mine ... that is, very few.]

hehe nice i'm thinking bout getting the ppc mini kit .
Never tried the ppc kit, but I can certainly recommend the PCC kit.;)

Seriously, the MaxX Fusion is the best cartomizer and best non-mod/fat batt e-cig I've ever vaped. It is in constant equal-time rotation with my Leo and ProVape-1 with (EastMall 801 atty).

Indeed, that should be the golden yardstick in all this, customer satisfaction.

I think threading is less important when it comes to cartomizer using...internal design and total wattage take center stage.
Total wattage on this should be the same as the Bloog Maxxy.

How long can that Batt possibly last with a 2ohm Carto on it ??? with constant use of course !

Constant use, one hour.
It is 180 mah and designed for the 2.4 magma atty so the drop to 2.0 is not a huge drop. But yea one hour.

I imagine months of constant usage would drain its charge to charge lifespan considerably...but that is true of all batteries of this size they just get charged too much to last a very long time.

Yup that's what I thought or even less, I guess if you had 4-5 of them in a pcc it would be a nice little kit for sure

I have yet to get less than an hour even when I was hitting it for the sole purpose of draining the battery to see how long it could last. However I find the only time I use a mini, when I am out and about and not wanting a huge device or even an ego...those are the times I am doing something besides chain vaping.

I just bought two more of these for the purpose of keeping in a cigarette case fully assembled, I figure four of these will get me as long as an Ego 650 mah would. As a plus that means I have 4 cartomizers on hand as well....at 8 bucks a pop its not overly expensive to do it that way.
