Sadly may have to give up my SSB!
I'm getting old I guess and it seems too heavy for my joints, and the tendons in my hand- may have to trade it for something lighter.
I got it this past Christmas and truelly love it, so this is a real bummer!:(!:(
What would be a good trade? I want the power of 18650's, any recommendations for a lighter 18650 mod?

All mechanical and light 18650=Megaladon aluminum version lightest but the SS one I am sure is considerably lighter than the SB as well.... But would be an upgrade trade for the SB might require some additional cash on the classies if you can get someone to bite on the deal... Plus side to the "Don" besides the weight would be remove middle section and toss in an 18350 and you have mini Don... But... Bottom button activation may be an issue if you are having limitations with your hands and wrists... Would not think this would be a real issue but worth mentioning...

Option... If you like the button of the SB and would consider sacrificing some battery life the BB from the same vendor would be smaller and lighter... 14500 battery it takes should get you through most of the day...

Other options... Acrylic tube mod from madevapes or a mantis also acrylic I believe...

All good advice! Thank God I have the BB and a foxy box as back ups! Giving the SB a break for a week to see how my hands feel, but may have to trade/sell it- thus this threading asking about lighter 18650 mods.

Hawkizefan: There is not enough alcohol in the world, that's why I quit drinking- so that there would be enough for you guys. That's the kind of guy I am... just generous that way.

So I said: "Screw it! I love my SB!" And went for 6volts and 7.4 volts with AW LifePo rcr 123, and Tenergy, and IMR 16340's all safe chemistry, and man! What a difference!
Sorry Altsmoke! I know it's not recommended but this is where the SB shines, Now it seems well worth the weight!
I will have to eventually get a Kick for it, but for now HV has saved my SB!

Edit: I like HV so much I got some IFR 3.2 14250 from Innovapor for the BB and that too is now more awesom(er)!

The PrecisePlus is less than 1 ounce lighter than the SB.

I would suggest a Mantis, which uses the same button as the SB, but is made from Delrin.

The SB with Kick should be lighter as it uses a smaller battery.

Mantis + Kick would be even lighter, but I don't think the Kick would work in a Mantis without adding ground connections..

Good for you Carlton...keep that Bullet rockin....

My Bullet @ 6v is just awesome, and I know stacking isn't recommended but I tend to do a lot of stuff that isn't "recommended" because life is to short not to....

Glad you're keeping it....know I couldn't let mine go.
