Maybe I don't need a repair after all?

So as I said in my other thread, my brand new provaris button was sticking,I decided to just test it out for a few days and I borrowed a tank from a friend. The first day the button stuck like crazy. But now that it's day three the button doesn't seem to be sticking at all.
Maybe the button needed to be broken in?

Perhaps the plastic button had a little bit of 'flash' (excess plastic from the molding process) on it and it has worn off?
