I agree with you 100% on specs for current handling and capacity for 18650 vs 18350; I just have a few builds that hit really great at ~7.4v. They are all at or slightly above one ohm, so split operating amperage keeps the load within CDR for the AW 18350s I'd be using. Capacity would suck, but I'm also the type of person to try something just because I can.

I love MCV devices to begin with, easily my favorite vape designer hands down. But I am so happy with this beautifully engineered mod! I've got a brand new Snow Wolf 200w, which I LOVE more than most things in this world, but I finally received this and a Forge v2 rda in the mail and I haven't even touched my pretty champagne-gold Wolf! I put a 6-wrap 26/36g dual fused Clapton in her and it's the best vape I've ever had, better than the first time good! I got this to be my secondary setup and for when I felt like an analog vape but now I'm back to mech mods and loving every hit of it! (They are BOTH super sexy tho! IMO)

Glad you came back to the mech world! And you certainly picked a fantastic mod. I have a similar (slightly different) clapton coil setup in my Raptor, it is a wonderful vape. Is yours a clone? A previous poster asked about the quality of the aluminum clone. I take it that it is excellent.

Go for it! I got my aluminum version from FT. Nice finish and works great out of the box. I did take it a part just to inspect it and everything looks good and clean.

i just ordered the the solid copper version from 88evapes. i have been a metalworker all my life so i couldn`t resist a solid copper mod. also ordered a couple of 3000 mah lg batts to go with it. i work in a plating shop so i may pick up a second one and do some custom finishes on one in nickel and/or chrome.

my raptor came in today. it is everything i was hoping for. one solid heavy hunk of coppe that will hold up to anything. batteries are in the charger.... can`t wait to try it.

Nice combo! the image will post inline if you put bbcode img tags before and after the url. Photobucket should have an option to paste with the tags already included. Imgur definitely has this option.

Holy cow! 88 really understands vape mail! Ordered on Saturday and will be ripping open the package when I get home . Impressive. I figured I would be waiting a couple weeks. Just assumed it was shipping from China because the price is so low.
