I'm sure this is posted somewhere else here, but I've been reading a ton lately and see a lot about 18650 batteries, not so much about 18500 batteries. I've been vaping a few weeks now and started with an itaste svd, protank 3, and 18650 batteries and love it, love it, love it. I have since purchased a kayfun 3.1(clone of course, just to see if I like them, and I do) and started building my own coils. I also got an igo-w4 and like that for testing new and/or steeped ejuice, changing the cotton is much easier than washing a whole tank.

A friend of mine found out that I've been vaping and sent me an early birthday present, like 5 months early, it's a mech mod exactly like this I'm not sure if he bought it from fasttech or not, and I don't really care. Mech mods will be a new thing for me, I've got used to the vv/vw of the svd and can fine tune my vape for each ejuice and tank that I use. Safety isn't really a concern for me, I've absorbed a lot of safety information from those of you here who are vastly more knowledgeable than I am.

My concern is how well will this battery work in this mod? I'm not looking for sub-ohm vaping, or anything like that, most of the coils I've been building have been between 1.5ohm and 2.1ohm. Also would that battery and mod be appropriate for use with a protank or even the kayfun? It would sure look silly as the kayfun is nearly as tall as the mod itself, but would it work, and work well?

These questions are mainly for double checking my interpretations of what I've read about batteries and safety and mech mods, I have a feeling that the battery and mod will be just fine with my tanks and rda, but because I've never used a mech mod, I'm asking.

Yes that mod is okay; clone or real.

Yes, that battery is fine for the resistance you use; 1.5, 2.0, but you won't get all day vaping with that length and amount of mah from that battery.

Appropriate? If it works, it works.

Thanks for the input, I'm not concerned about having it for all day vaping, maybe for a quick trip out somewhere. If I'm going to be out for an extended period of time, I'll either take the svd or mvp 2.0. Being honest, I've been reading a lot about the nemesis mech, and I really want to get one. Saving up my self-imposed vaping "budget" is going to be hard, but maybe I'll grab a clone to start with. I've got a case of the shinies, which I've found makes it difficult to do much else than browsing for new vape gear.
