All that is needed to save some peoples teeth is some simple ecig safety news stories, but I guess then they wouldn't have the next headline story of someones face getting blown up to look forward to ;)
That's really an outstanding point.

A responsible news media would make sure to understand the issues involved.
And then provide an informative and educative news piece.

I'm pretty sure that is what news media was intended for in the first place.
Now it seems to be a forgotten concept.

Exactly, remember when the news showed the news, now they show 5 sec. clips and tell you what they said. What happened to actually showing what someone said and letting the public decide what they meant when they said it? News only gives their interpretation of a story or event, not the line for line happening. That's why we have to take everything with a grain of salt, from everyone.

There must be many more accidents out there than reported. Someone just posted wondering if there was any difference between .3 and .03 OHMS. New guy using a Nemmy clone. Great for him, but there will be many that don't ask first.

See this is the problem, people moving to advanced setups too fast. I will say at least they asked and that's a good thing. Problem is people are gonna flame the poster and say look it up. What people need to do is explain the difference and lead that person to data sheets and a coil calculator. Then nicely explain they need to put up the nemmy for a bit and learn first.

While this is indeed a problem, it's the lack of understanding math that's a big concern to me.

I mean, don't you learn decimal placement in elementry school and the numeric value associated with decimal movement???

It's not the decimal placement, it's lack of knowing what the decimal means.

Ahhhhhh............ Yeaaaaa.......... Swatisaid.........

You can't teach when people refuse to learn. My 7yr. old is doing ones, tens and hundreds but you put in a decimal and go the opposite way, it's like you're speaking gibberish to adults though, lol. (some not all)

When I was a little kid in grade school, yes!! Comes a time tho when it HAS to make sense, and for some that have a high school education and don't have that knowledge, where did we go astray??

My favorite one is where I literally stand and shake my head mouth wide open when I give the correct change to a cashier after they have rung out a sale and they just hand me back my change and the change the register has calculated for them!!

As a 2.5 year tootle puffer, I don't understand the fascination over the gear out there, I don't even know what a mech mod is.

But I offer you this: When someone approaches me, mentions that someone yesterday blew off half their lips vaping, and asks me how I can feel safe using mine, I ask them if they are concerned about driving their car to work because a top-fuel dragster blew up at the drag strip last night.

Well i dont have that mod yet i was looking to purchase it.. im using a nemesis. But im literally about to buy a Box mod vape right now im looking for something with high wattage. I want to vape with almost the lowest number of ohms allowed on the vape so i was looking to see if for example i vape a .o9 ohm how many watts would i need to use? and if i have 2 batteries would it die fast?
Also this may sound really stupid but is .15 bigger then .3?

The fella is already using the nemesis and is looking to get into a regulated box mod is the case. I quoted it from the other thread.

What an idiot.

Take it from a former math teacher. Many of my students would argue with me those are the same.

The zero to the right of the decimal Cancels Out, right? Lol

Apparently. You would be amazed the lack of understanding of basic math skills and common sense in our high school students. Maybe in elementary schools it should be taught by math teachers rather than elementary teachers. Obviously some elementary teachers do a fine job, but some aren't.

Try teaching in an urban district. High school students that can't tell time. Don't know how big an inch or a foot is. And we are supposed to teach them algebra. I took time out from algebra to teach them to tell time.
