That's true, however .... as it fails, it mushrooms causing it to seal .... then the casing ruptures.
After the mushroom seals .... the top vent might no longer be part of the equation.
We went through this extensively here on ecf a couple of years ago. The only "safe" vent goes the full length of the tube.

To that logical extreme I agree. If there isn't enough space for the top to pop as designed it go boom.

if the out of state vendor get the proper license from Arkansas they can sell there. But few will I suspect.
Yep, few will. I've already received some "I'm sorry but we will no longer be able to sell to you" messages

I have been arguing in another thread that conventional bottom venting is generally poor design. It appears like a case where one person came up with venting at the bottom, then other manufacturers copied it by making holes in the bottom, without ever putting a second thought into it.

Some mods have positive terminals facing down with vent holes, I assume for that reason?

Batteries explode, doesn't have to be user error, sometimes they just explode, google cellphone explodes and see what pops up, a bunch of people with bleeding ears...

It's a risk we all take when vaping, I don't vape under .4 ohms to lower that risk...
Those are just the CIA issued cell phones ;)
