Yeah, I was thinking that, when Rob orders X# of firing pins (flat, stamped out, with hole and tapered tip) stamped out by "B.C. Contacts", he could also order Y# of "type 2" firing pins (flat, stamped out, with hole, but longer and blunt) . . . . . I just meant, some of us might want to end up with the shape you and I were playing with.

but, dizzie, if you're volunteering to make firing pins for all the flattop kids . .. :)

That makes sense.

I have an idea but I wouldn't want to make them often if it works. If it works, you know who the tester will be. ;)

speaking of Brits, buttons and such. . . . . here's this, Supertrunker.

oh - i take the middle bit out of the rivet - but what do i know! i use it to store HRH's face powder and so on!

'what's the voltage drop?' - no idea

so why? stops the delrin melting! ;)

why don't you just clean your Reo more often? because i am employed...

T

yeah, I know, but i didn't want to take the innards out. I just hit the button bott. with the 12" disc sander, swept around to the drill press, and popped her in. I've been saving melted/worn buttons ever since SuperTrunks mentioned this. So I just ground off the uneven part (which also happens to be the thickness of the little button bottom topper capper), and it all sizes out.

there's a lot of surface area for the epoxy to grab if I leave the nipple part on it.

ETA: oh, did I mention about Bob . . .. being your uncle?

fuse holder is great and safe in my opinion . I cant put them in my mods because I no people will not use them properly . They will use over size fuses and some will jam paper clips in the connections . Crazy yeah it is but there are people that will do these type of things . Once I get this sub ohm kit rolling I will work on a fuse system for the mods . I love the idea of a fuse but it has to be something a user cant over ride easily

You can't fix stupid is what I always say. Throw the usual legal disclaimer on it and if someone wants to try to blow their face off by being stupid...well that's just natural selection at work! :)

Yeah, yeah, I don't want anyone getting hurt but there comes a time when I see someone being an a$$clown and they get hurt, I kind of think to myself...good for them.
