I've been waiting to buy my first Reo for weeks now, can't wait to get the green light!!!!!

I was in the same boat but when the wife gave me the green light to just order one I did and figured I'd retro fit it when the kit comes out hehe. I was tired of waiting and just wanted a REO already!

I hear ya, I'm about at that point but I know my luck. As soon as I get my Reo Rob will announce that the upgrades are in...lol.

even if that does happen... just order the kit. lets be honest... we all know these wont be our last REO's anyway.

But if you time it right you could be the first person with the kit.

I think I used all my luck for this year when I got my first two choices on the Woodvil run. I've been lusting for the kit since before I got my # 2 and 3 Reos. I asked for the kit when I ordered 2 and 3 Reo # 4 was ordered with 2 and 3 but it wasn't available yet. Since then I have two Woodvils and a VV on the way. I might even wait a week to give things a little time to settle down because Rob is gonna be swamped the first week. I need quite a few extras with my order too. SO LP TRA, 2 Brass RM2s, 1 LP RM2, and 3 kits to change over the metals I already have. I'm sure there's something else I need too just can't remember at the moment.

I will get a date tomorrow people just loves dates I disliked clocks set dates to be free of clock and dates I can dream

No worries Rob - how about just giving us a date when you get the parts in. I know we can count on "your" customer service.

I do have a question for the REO man... I can not specifically remember if there was mention of this, so if there was i apologize...

but the is this kit going to be better fit for flat tops? Will it work the same between flat tops and button tops? Which is more likely to perform better?

Sorry if its asking a lot... I just prefer using what the man himself deems best...

It's only 1100 posts to re-read. Lol. From what I gather it will work the same with flat or nipple top. And it won't require Noalax for either. Hope that helps.

this is my understanding... but i dont want to guess, and most of all... if flat tops work, but buttons will work better... well... button it is... you know?

just want to continue to get the most out of Sweetness and what better way than to get the word from the man with the plan?

Without it you can do .7 without issues. Depending on how long you hold the button .6 can start melting the button and .4 will drop the spring.

With the kit your battery will be the limit.

Some people, me included, have done a few mods that allow us to go very low. Replacing the spring with a 10amp car fuse and the firing pin with one made from a brass feeler gauge.
