No reason to neuter that mod, My Chalice's will fit just fine on it, Send me the Blue one and I'll send you a Chalice III for Tesla

lol

2 Chalice IIIs would be closer to equal the Tesla cost but thank you for the offer. I was curious for a long time about the Chalice and a kind REOnaut let me try one to see if I wanted to spend the money for one. Yes it was great but since I have tried other drippers that were modified for BFers and have been extremely happy with them. My only issue was having all Woodvils which limited what I could use. With the new LP coming out and now knowing Rob can have the drip well modded I'm a happy camper. It is a shame the Tesla in its perfect condition is never used anymore I would never have the engraved drip well tampered with. Your home would be a excellent place for it to reside. ;)

Is anyone having the same dilemma that I am? Woodvil or Resin mod? I know that I can get both, of course. However, if it's one or the other......which to choose from?

I appreciate the wood more and i know it will probably enjoy the wood more than the resin, however, when I bought two VV Woodvils back in 2012, I could not get the smell and taste of wood out of my Bubinga and Rosewood mods. I did the wax inside and out. I did the coffee grinds trick for a week or two. Nothing got the taste of wood out of my vapor.

I'm going to have to make a judgment call since these two mods are llikely to be due out around the same time.

What are you all going to do? Woodvil, Resin or both?

It is tough for me because I love the wood REO's! But the new Resinators (;)LOL) are appealing.

I will celebrate 4 years cig free in February, and 4 years a Reonaut in March. Typically I get a REO for both anniversaries.

This year I am having to watch my money a little more and just don't know what to do.

But one thing for sure, I will not be selling any of my wood REO's to fund a purchase because I love mine way too much!.

Same here:) Def going to shoot for a Woodvil in the run and may ponder a resin later on. This will make my ninth, seven of which are wood. I love the feel of the wood and love the durability of the grand. It will be interesting to see the options on the resins. The possibilities are endless! LOL

Are there certain types of wood that have less of an odor than others? Or is a certain coating less odorous than others (urethane, etc)

I was heartbroken when I couldn't get the taste of wood or coating out of my vape on the two VVW's I once owned.

I will choose my Woodvil based on this rather than which I think is most pleasing to the eye.
