TreVader, you come off as awfully cavalier with regard to your respect for the dangers of electricity...

We can talk shop all day long, I've been an electrical engineer for 20 years... I accept that you don't care about the risks... That's up to you... But for you to come in here and attempt to rationalize your actions by minimalizing the risks is grossly irresponsible.

How many new vapers may read some of your post in this thread and think to themselves, hey I can wrap .3 Ohm coils and vape away! Without some basic understanding of DC Theory, which batteries have a forgiving chemistry so that in the even of a thermal event they don't pop in your hand, which batteries can handle that type of current draw, etc, is not something that should be taken light hearted.

Do you need to be an engineer to vape sub ohm coils on a mech? Certainly not! But you should at least operate within the parameters of the equipment you're using.

What you want to do is your business... Just consider the consequences of someone with no experience suffering extreme burns on their hands / face because they took your advice. Refusing to acknowledge risk is a far cry from being ignorant of the risks... Are you willing to bear that weight on your shoulders for the rest of your life if one of your fellow vapers gets hurt following your dangerous thumb rules and care free attitude?

I can't help but feel that you probably don't care what any of us say... Just do us all a favor, and put a disclaimer on your posts that vaping sub ohm coils is riding the razor's edge of safety, do so at your own risk. At least acknowledge that you are accepting the risks.

To say that there are no risks at all, and it's completely safe is completely irresponsible...

I totally agree with you dam718, but I could never have said it as well as you did. Thank you.
