Got my Flux on the town mini 510 kit today. Never had to syringe fill before so that was new to me. Unfortunately I have been having my teeth pulled to get dentures and the narcotic pain killers do not mix so well with my IBS meds. I for some unknown reason didn't notice the tiny holes on the rubber thing about the ceramic cup. In my haze I decided to remove both the top ring and the one above the cup so I could drip fill it. STUPID!!! I being medicated chiped the cup on one and cracked it on the second fluxomiser. I gotta say that these things must be pretty good because despite damaging the white cup they put out a ton of vapor. The plus side is while starting to pull the ring above the cup on the second one (still cracked it before noticing it) I noticed the hole in it and then filled via syringe. I ordered another kit tonight after falling in love with this one. I now know how to fill one lol. I blame this purely on the pain killers!

Hahaha I was completely in my right mind, as much as I ever am, and it only had two survivors out of my pack, so don't feel bad. I didn't notice the fill holes, either. It doesn't matter because I didn't care for them with the cup seal on, anyway. I found out that I could take the tube off while the fluxo was on the battery by carefully wiggling it while pulling on it. Then I could get the plugs out and get it modded. Not sure how I feel about them yet since I mostly use my nano and giant.

Sent from lala land using my epic tablet!

I have had to have them pulled three-four at a time. I am on SSI so I am on a state medical card (Illinois) and for some reason they do not like pulling all of your teeth at one time like they use to. I have a tooth monday that will be surgically removed (my parents are paying for because that one I have to pay for out of pocket) and wednesday I will have the remaining four pulled. I will have been on Norco (It's vicoden with half the tylenol) for a month by the time it will be done. I am also on some other medication for IBS and BiPolar disorder that really makes me feel like a funky monkey with the pain killers. ick

I LOVE FLUXOMIZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh yeah had to put that out there. Where was these two years ago when I got my first Joye 510 kit? I did order another kit because I love the Flux on the town kits that much. I plan on taking one of these when I got out riding my motorcycle (I got two babies I mean bikes). I live on my parents farm (moved back after my first divorce, moved out after my second marriage, moved back in after the second divorce. my poor mom and pop) so I know they will be my carry around pv.

On another note I found out yesterday my Identity was used for some scam and now paypal says the not me me owes $22,547. grrrrr thank God for vaping or I might lose it on some one. This is the second time paypal has had to contact me over the last four years the last time it was for $32,000. Thanks to the VA my identity was stolen about 7 years ago along with about half of the Army Veterans because some VA dude lost a laptop. What a month!

Vaping with pulled teeth?
Are you allowed to do that?
When I got my wisdom pulled I wasn't even allowed to use a straw for 3 weeks.
Same for when I got a biopsy on my gum tissue for my leukoplakia (which made me switch to e-cigs).
The suction pulls out the healing gum and gives you dry socket, which is no bueno.

Oh no I am sure I am not allowed to vape. They said no drinking or a straw or smoking but they never said no vaping. heh As to dry socket, well so far so good I only have five teeth to go. I have one surgically removed monday and the other four pulled wednesday. I had been vaping with a ego-t type b so the drawl needed to pull vapor is fairly light. I don't vape as much as a lot of people I would think because 10ml lasts me about two weeks on average. I try not to chain vape so I usually just take a few drawls here and there through out the day but there is days I don't even touch it. I use to smoke two packs of camel non filters a day but I quit three years ago how ever I still enjoyed having the occasional pipe, hookah or cigar. For me vaping replaced those bad habits. Dry socket does suck I had it before when I smoked. My gums have been healing quite well and I do worry that I might set it back vaping but my stress level is through the rough. I say vaping it less damaging to my gums then should I fall off the wagon and get a drink. Drinking use to be my favorite way of not dealing with stress, smoking was a close second.

I DO NO SUGGEST VAPING WHEN HAVING DENTAL WORK! IN FACT DON"T!

What I foolish do to myself is never encouraged to be done by others!

I do appreciate your concerns about risking dry socket. I will keep it in mind.

its not just dry socket to worry about but the main reason your not suppose to smoke or use a straw or vape is becuase of the pressure you put on the wound, it slows healing, causes bleeding form the pressure, your pulling down on any part that is open. i just recently had teeth pull for replacements and was told the reasoning.

Depending on where your stitches are, you may be able to maneuver it to where you can vape. It was a while between when I got my biopsy and picked up the ecig--almost 3 weeks without nicotine was horrific. But I was able to put pressure on my stitches with my tongue or fingers pressed against my cheek and I would drink through straws with no problem.

ahhhh hmmm well crap I guess no more vaping for a while. I thought I had one to go monday and four wednesday but I cant count I have five more wednesday. That kinda sucks.

I just got back from my neighbor and showed her my fluxomizer kit. She has been doing the prefilled carto thing with auto batteries. I showed her how to fill one of the fluxomizers (now that I know how lol). I asked her if she was interested in giving a kit a try and she said "Oh yes I would like to get one." I told her she was in luck because I have one on its way and soon as I get it in the mail its hers. I have some apple liquid she tried today and there is enough to tie her over until the beginning of next month. Wow I couldn't believe how excited she was! Her husband still smokes (she hasn't had a cigarette in the year she has been vaping) and she said "See this is what you need maybe then you will quit." I feel like I did a good thing.

If you decide to not vape, and you need nic, just put two or three drops of liquid under your tongue.

It's no comparison to actual vaping, but when I first started out, the kit I got had a bogus charger and so it killed both of my batts. I had to ship it back to the vendor, wait for them to examine it, and then wait for a new one to be shipped back to me. So I went for about a week and a half with no PV. So I had to drip in my mouth. Tastes horrid--burns your mouth--but it does the job.

The crazy dangerous things we do. When my original auto batts crapped out in my first vaping go round, I put drops of juice on my wrist pulse points...you know since I had read about the dangers of skin absorption and that is basically how the patches work. It seemed to work as well. Not saying I would recommend it or anything...

I had just gone for 3 weeks without nic. I get the kit and 4 days later the batts die? No way am I going to go a day longer without nic.

Umm, well I am about the worst for understanding or displaying the appropriate intonation with written word...so I just wanted to make sure that you got I wasnt faulting you, for saying or doing, or anything, just laughing about the oddball things we'll do to get our nic fixes. Maybe I should have used some emoticons or something  ;)

Oh, there was no misunderstanding, burns. :)
I was just elaborating on my story.

Super :)

I was just reading yours and confused about intonation and got all in a tizzy that you'd got the wrong impression from my post. And I'd hate to have misunderstandings and since I'm a rather upfront person...

Katatonik your hard core! Wow you taking dripping to a whole new level. I think I will just have to drink plenty of yerba tea while I can't vape. ok sorry but YUCK you actually did that? wow that truly was an act of desperation.

burns_erin the skin absorption thing still gets me paranoid when I am handling liquid or equipment that has been covered in it (leaky atty's grrrr). I did read a article about this study that used nicotine patches on Alzheimer patients. From what I read it slowed down the progression and it also increases memory retention. I believe they did the same experiment with healthy adults and there was a increase in memory retention. Oh so why in the heck can't I ever remember where I put my keys?

I was going to hook my neighbor (the one I am giving a flux on the town kit too) two 10ml bottles of menthol and menthol with a hint of chocolate (not sure the actual names of the two liquids) from Blue Mist Vaping when I place my order the beginning of the up coming month. I couldn't believe how excited she got over the kit I brought over. I was really happy to hear her husband agree to giving it a try as well. He still smokes something fierce. Her son is my best friend and my riding partner, we put a lot of miles on out motorcycles every year. He quit smoking but he thinks vaping is the same as smoking. Idk about that I watched my grandpa die from emphazima (can't spell) and if these things keep people off the real crap then so be it.

Nah. It's not that bad, really. Gave me a wicked buzz. But that might just have been due to the fact I was deprived of it for so long.
