I love XL Fluxos. I don't mind syringe filling at all. I got my local pharmacist to order 100 of them for me. 3 ml, with 20ga needles, for 15 bucks. I store juice in them even. What I do is, I take out the cup seal, and reinsert the donut ring, flat side up. I have a bunch of those rings that come on top of the batting in regular polyfill carts. I put one of those down inside, on top of the other ring, flat side down, tapered side up. The mouthpiece that comes in each pack of 5 Fluxos fits down tight over the double rings. No leak, no juice mouth. Works great.

Just got mine today!! I broke the first two trying to get out the most inner plug. However, If found a solution .... At the end of the first video you are shown how to take the tube off. So I took the tube off first then popped the plugs, put back together and filled. I have a 70-30 VG liquid that was really hard to get into the tube --stuff is just to darn thick. I got my PV liquid in there just fine. I am a HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY customer!!!

Earlier today I raved about my brand new fluxo's ... then I leaked. This video on a slight mod made all the difference!! Now I'm a HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY customer! LOL

Probably unnecessary, but I'm ridiculously grateful my fluxo doesn't leak anymore. Now here's to hoping that more than 2 of the next order I make of them don't require me to adjust the battery posts :D

Need the perfect cheap tool for pressing your cup or ridged o-ring back into the tube?

Ya didn't throw away your 3ml syringe plunger shaft did ya? Ah, good... just remove that tit that holds the rubber plunger tip. Cut it flush and voilà!

Sometimes I'm really glad I keep all my vaping 'junk'. Every once in a while it pays off. Just received my first 510 XL CE2 1.7Ω style cartos and remembered this super helpful thread. Was gonna use a flat head screw when I spotted my vaping 'junk' box and remembered I had some 3ml syringe parts. Now I have another vaping tool to put out on da bench.

BTW, pretty nice vape thus far. Not pleased with the condensation though...

I find it strange that everyone is throwing out the o-ring and calling it useless. I've been using fluxo's for about 6 months and discovered the magic of the o-ring the first day. Ever noticed how 1 side of the o-ring has a groove in it? Well, that groove fitts perfectly over the ceramic cup, if the center post is centered in the tube. The silicone cup pinches the wicks and makes the vape taste like crap. Also its a pita to remove and even harder to put back on.
Here's what I've been doing for 6 months, there's no leaking, i can refill and be vaping in under 2 mins also.

First, remove the cap, the o-ring and silicone cup. Now take the silicone cup and very carefully, throw it in the trash! Its garbage. Now, fill your tube by running the juice down the side like you all know how to do I'm sure, then, take the o-ring, slotted side down, make sure the ceramic cup is centered in the tube so that groove on the o-ring will fit over it nicely, then push the o-ring down over the ceramic cup, making sure the post is still centered and the ring is nice and level over the cermaic cup.

Viola! No more pinched wicks. No more worrying about lining up your wick slots. The o-ring can be removed and replaced with a simple toothpick or small tool.

You still get some condensation, but what I do is simply shake the condensation juice back onto the coil - much like dripping without actually dripping.

One tip, since the wicks aren't pinched anymore, extended storage on its side may draw a bit of excess juice to the coil. If this happens, just suck extra hard and take a few long hits to burn up the extra juice.

A general tip unrelated to my method, if juice leaks out the battery end, then you've somehow pulled the post up and broken the seal on the connection side. I like to use the flat end of a skinny pen to apply even downward pressure on the post, with the o-ring on, to make sure the post is seated all the way down on the connection end.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Thanks for the tips MsBree.

I've been using XL Fluxomizers exclusively for 2 weeks and I am enjoying vaping more and more all the time. Fluxos are the PERFECT fit for me. I have had absolutely no leaks and always get high performance. I've been using all of the ohms available and love them all. I can't imagine going back to attys. Just got my husband to try them yesterday and he is very happy with them, too. Thank you Got Vapes! (Also just ordered the Vision Stone Tank this morning and I'm so excited to try it!)

I have broke 2 of the white cups so far, First was trying to remove the inner plug and it wouldnt budge so I thought I would remove the tube instead pulled the tube from the batt connector and broke the white cup in half at the coil :-( Next one stuck as well and thought ohwell and tried just pulling the rubber plug and broke another white plastic cup :-(
Ruining 2 out of 3 is getting expensive quick and if it continues I will be looking for an alternative.

Also none of my eGo cones fit over the Fluxo without being modified.

I even went so far as to make a tool to remove the plugs instead of bending the tip on one of my Wiha screwdrivers I took a piece of coat hanger flat ground the end like a screwdriver and then bent it 90degrees and added a Bic pen handle as the shaft from the Bic pen is usefull for pushing the rubber plugs back in the tube as its a small enough dia.

Finding or Making the Right Tool is the Key to Removing the Cup Seal Easily.

Without the Right Tool it can be a Bear and there is a Good Chance that Something is going to get Mangled.

Yeah, when the New Plastic Tubes came out they were Thicker than the Old Ones.

Many of us File/Sand the Small End to make the Opening Larger.

You are absolutely right about the tool. Once I got that part right, I have had great luck with these.

Also really appreciate all these videos that have been created. They make vaping so much easier and more enjoyable. I really love being able to see how much juice I have left instead of waiting for that dry hit and having to stop right this second and do a top off. So much more convenient with these!!! Now if I could just figure out a way to carry the clearomizers around without any spillage they would be perfect!!

That's extremely funny. I've had the fluxos for several days and REALLY enjoying them. I just complete the middle oring flip mod and good to go. I have to admit that inner silicone cup is a pain to remove, but quite worth it. Great TH, vapor, and taste. I love these fluxos!!

So. Got my fluxo's today... Wrong color and resistance, but since I'm broke and in need of a way to vape, I don't care. Long story short, I think I pushed the silicone cap down too much on my first one. Got a terrible burnt plastic taste after the first couple drags. Juice is 25/75 vg/pg so I figured the sides may be getting pinched on the wick. I also think I may have caught the bottoms of the wicks in the tube and pulled em down. Anyway, I wound up removing the black silicone cap to use the o-ring, but even without anything I'm still getting that awful burnt plastic taste after a few drags. Any tips on how to get rid of it?

Edit: Wound up looking down and turning it on without any of the rings. Looks like two of the coils are glowing red within seconds, if not quicker, while it still looks like the rest of em are producing vapor properly...

After a proper cleaning a dry burn(s), should the wick that sits under the coils look pristine? Or will it inevitably turn somewhat black and gunky?

It depends on the type of e-Liquid you use and how "Gunked Up" the coil/wick was before you did your Dry Burn.

With my Clear DIY Pineapple/Cherry, the Coil/Wick look about Brand New after a Dry Burn.

But with my DIY Tastyfinger Varient, the Coil looks Clean but the Wick is Dis-Colored.

As your finding out, the wick does have to be Snow White to bring back the Flavor of a CE2. In fact, I think this is why many people Pop their CE2's when Dry Burning.

They keep Dry Burning again and again to make the Wick Pristine White after no Smoke is coming off the Wick/Coil.
