I did post his/her PM knowing I was breaking a rule, but I was absolutely shocked and appalled at it and wanted to see if this person did this to any others.
Wow Kaston, the forum sure got lively tonight while I was out having a little quiet time to myself. Started reading when I got home 2 1/2 hours ago LOL. Sorry you were called such a "vulgar" name. Name calling is just not called for by anyone, name calling is something little kids do!
You should be proud of geting your article published, & congratulations for doing so. I can see some might be offended by your article or your pictures, but as adults, if they are offended then it is easy to just not look & go to the next page, article, & forget it.
Personally, I thought your signature was funny, nothing nekkid it in, just a .... wiggling to liven things up a bit, all in fun. Fun is what the internet should be about with no hassles from others, rude comments etc......
I don't get offended by much of anything, matter of fact by those who know me in real life, describe me as having a "sick sense of humor", the worse a joke or picture, usually the better I like it so I try to be very careful out here myself.

(Mod hat off) OK, I have to agree with this. As long as a thread isn't breaking any rules, then I could care less what someone says on there. If I find it offensive, then I don't have to view it. No one is forcing me to go there.
And if I did find something that offensive, I might make a comment to that effect on the thread but personally, I would never write to someone to call them a name. That really tells more about my character than the one I'm insulting.

Not a reason to break the rules - the mods will always take care of any issues without any need to break this rule, which is extremely important for the protection of members.
i totaly agree trumpy it is easy to sit behind your i.p. address and little avatar and bash a young lady that you dont even know.....and why because she likes to have fun or enjoys her job that you may not agree with or maybe you feel like a woman should be covered from head to toe?im sorry but miss kaston is not in the taliban.......miss kaston i think your great and what you do is great if more people were like you maybe our divorce rate wouldnt be so high......and hey if ya got it flaunt it

I have to agree with Lu on this one; like her I learned the hard way what being "familiar" with others on the internet can result in...
Kaston, this is a community, but it's a community that exists on the internet. Anybody can register on this site, heck, homeless people can get on the net at the local library, and the incarcerated often have access as well ('cept those identity theft types, or predators of minors). They come from all walks of life; differing in all imaginable ways, from religion to politics to cultural upbringing, to economic status to age and so on and so forth, the list of differences is endless. The only thing in common is that they came to find out about and discuss about e cigs.
Personally I thought the pageant threads were a hoot, but honestly I have to admit that I was a bit shocked that some contestants divulged so much personal info and got a bit daring with their photos.
From being on varied forums for quite some time now, it seems to me that when posts stay on topic all remains pretty much as expected. When they go off topic and other views/life style choices/etc. come into play... well, that's where the "wigging out" might happen.
I am sorry you were insulted, but remember, there's a difference between folks being friendly and being your friend. That said, most here are very friendly and helpful, which is why we keep coming back right? Best I can offer you is to say don't allow one simple minded person to sully the experience of being here. And remember to be cautious with your personal info. I fear that more ill mannered people will show up as this site grows in popularity (hopefully being rude will be their worst transgression) and the best we can do is to take defensive measures.
