My buddy started vaping a few weeks after I did and I consider him to be a very manly man based on appearance.
He's 6'-6" and weighs in at 290 pounds so that's pretty manly in my books. Well he went to the local Vape shop and picked up a small eGo Twist with a 3ml tank and Carto set up which to some would be "girly" tell that to him.

He was not shy about the whole thing because there is NO SHAME in quitting the analogs.

He simply tells people when I had a cigarette in my hand it would take me a couple of minutes to chase someone down and take him to the ground. Now it will only take me 60 seconds.

Bottom line is that it takes a real man or women to quit the Analogs and there's nothing to be a shammed of for stepping up to the plate and taking a stand on the rest of your life.

My father, hitting 70 now, still works as a computer programmer for a classified facility where there are people all the way from age 25 to 70. He can't quit smoking because so many people there do that even if he skips breaks to avoid smoke ... he smells it on the way inside.

Turns out about 1/2 of those guys have converted to eCigs ... I'm about to get him convinced to try. No one there makes fun of it. Most respect it. Just don't buy fruity flavors :) There are plenty of liquids that smell like flavored pipe tobacco.

I'm actually planning to get him a starter ePipe so he can be a cool kid for a few more months until he retires :)

We wives have special ways of getting our husbands to do exactly what we want. You may have to break out some good moves on this one. I was once able to convince my husband that we needed a standard poodle. He even walked it to the school to pick up the kids. Tap into your inner wife and get him vaping:D
Ha! please PM me. I have no wife moves. Can't convince the guy of anything lol.....
Although the "don't you want to see your kids get married" might work, things like that do get him thinking. i'm not hell bent on having him take up vaping btw, he's the one who's "intrigued" and not daring and being a sissy about it ^^ reminds me of other things..... there might be a pattern there... :D

I dread the day my fiancee starts popping in here and finds out I've been saying things like that. You sure you want him to start vaping? :)

He might take on vaping, but "foruming"? never rofl. Also he says that same thing to "those guys" at work. brags about how "he could if he wanted to", do things they can only dream of with their wives. LOL :D
(eta: believe me if he wasn't on board with my horrible sense of humour, we wouldn't be together ^^ )

Ha! When I first Started Vaping I refused to use anything Larger than a cigarette. Once I realized that I was sacrificing performance for a manly P.V. I Switched over to an Orange Rough Stack.. lol While Working in construction I Heard Everything under the sun. You Name it.. After About a Year when People started realizing that I Hadn't fired up a coffin nail they began asking questions. I would say atleast 20 people on that job ended up with setups of their own.. And.. Commence "NICE CRACKPIPE BRO!!"...lol

Not that I would ever judge your mans manliness, LOL. But I work construction in the US and recently went from chewing/smoking to ecigs. I've had many different reactions to the change and fully expected them when I made the switch. Basically, in a nutshell, "a real man doesn't worry about what others think!" He does, and is, what he wants to be at any given time, with conviction. He is kind, considerate, and forgiving. Tell him to be confident in his decision to try to make his life better. Forgive the haters, and love the lovers. Men that tease, torment, and put down other men are actually the most insecure men of them all.
