Hmmm.... Its day 4 for me now and I keep getting about 10 "good / heavy" clouds of flavor then it feels like I have to "nail" on the initial suction... Then pull the rest and still... Almost no "flavor" but tons of throat-hit... I was beginning to suspect a disconnect between the cart filling & the atty so I just popped in one of my spare BE112 attys and have hit the 30 mouth-full mark with the same nice hit / draw...

Bad JS atty perhaps? Anyone?

Doubtful. Just a really good beci cart and atty combo. Cart is a lot more crucial than you think. The BE112 itself is not my favorite atomizer anymore, but it *is* my favorite one to use carts with because of how great their carts fit and work.

Wolf,
As mine just shipped today i will most interested in hearing your initial thoughts. I'm currently vaporing the 510 manual switch with enough pleasure/satisfaction to find me in my 7th week off analogs (still stunned that it is possible).
Hope the JS is a step up and then i'll certainly wish to do nothing at all but vape. There must be "something else" in these things......maybe famous BOB DOBBS's elusively defined 'frop'.
Slackingly,
Mike

Maybe i'll be moved into the religion thread after all,
Thank Bob for raspberry:) frapachino

So far I'm loving it, when I can pry it out of my husband's hand. The long pass-through cord is long enough that I can plug in to my computer tower and not turn and rip it out of my mouth. Hubby had it plugged in to his lap top for hours yesterday. I have to get him back on his e-cigar or buy another JS. I don't have a 510. I went from a 901 to an 801 to the cigar (atty issues) so I invested in the JS. I'm also in the process of making a few NicoStick box mods. Hoping hubby will prefer the all black with no lights. :)

I've been using my replacement V2 (Thanks, Ethan) for several days now so it's time to sum up.

Overall, I like it and will use it as my preferred 3.7 volt device.

Pros:
Form factor is excellent.
Excellent amount of vapor.
Good flavor.
Easy to carry and use.
Doesn't look like a cigarette.
Provided holster is stylish and useful.

Cons:
Light hit, even for a 3.7v batt. "Double dragging" helps.
Battery is difficult to change on the run. Cap too easily lost.
Atomizer is difficult to change - requires a tool to get it screwed in enough to make contact.

I haven't had the V2 long enough to comment on the switch. So far, so good.

Definitely going through a learning curve with this new JS.

Partially because I'm completely new to vaping no doubt.

My only real challenge is that I too agree that the vapor is light on a "normal" draw.

I find that if I Power-Drag as hard as I can at first, then continue to inhale with my lungs, that I can taste a decent amount of flavor and get that youtube video review "cloud" of vapor that sold me on the JS in the first place...

That being said, there may be another trick or 2 I'm bound to learn shortly that will allow me to NOT look like I'm having an asthma attack every time I vape this thing!

Oh, I should probably mention that, although I don't think anything was permanently damaged, I did have a "near miss" with the button today.

I must have mashed it a little too hard because it stuck down after I released...

Of course I immediately panicked and mashed the button like 5 more times and the dimple went away...

So far everything's back in working order... Or so it seems.

What's the diff between v1 and v2? I have both (my wife killed v1 in 2 days  I'm using v2 ( I kinda miss my engraving on my first one D.F.T. Don't F&*$(*^ Touch wish my wife woulda knew what it ment. I had the problem with the getting crossed eyed with v1 but it worked good enuff. V2 looks just like V1. was even wondering if I got a V1 instead. Is there a diff that you can see? or will the button start getting wierd on me in a couple of days like V1 did.
Help with this please going crossed eyed again from just checking.

You can’t tell until you open one:

1. V2 has better sealed compartments inside, uses better glue but due to pressure when glueing you might find some resistance from glue residue on the screw (the first times you screw the atomizer inside the atomizer compartment it might be a bit hard, this will eventually get better after a while - some reside glue will probably come loose and form then on the atomizer will fit better.)
2. The V2 switch is better glued and should not come loose easily

Hi,

Lots of things can cause low vapor/low TH:
Juice - more VG = more vapor
Juice - more PG = more taste (generally)
Juice - more nicotine = more TH (generally)
Battery - marginal performance - try a different battery
Battery charge - try it on the passthru
Atty - some are better than others - try a different one
Cartridge - not enough or too much juice - try vaping it (almost) dry then refreshing

I go through this routine all the time and it's usually one of those. If cigarettes weren't trying to kill me, I'm not sure I'd put up with all this futzing about to get PVs to work consistently.
