I use the Stick for 3 days now. My feelings are... well... mixed...
Sure, it is a nice, sleek and handy device, the passthrough/charger combination is a neat feature, battery life is more than acceptable, but....

When it comes to actual vaping, vapor production and throat hit, the Stick is (to put it mildly) erratic...
Either it will produce tons of vapor and will have a throat hit like a mule, or nothing at all! And when i say nothing, i mean nothing!

So far i've tried everything: With fully charged battery, on the passthrough, with the Janty atomiser, with my mini pipe atomisers, with new cartridges, with no cartridges, dripping.... Nothing. It will either work or it won't.

Strange thing however is that the atomiser works as it should. Especially the Janty one i can see it glow from heating. I tried screwing it in even more (by using pliers), but no change...

Any other ideas anyone? Or should i just return it as defective?

quote=Rickgren;427136]I'm getting the same problem. I have a v1 also and at least you knew when it wasn't working when it wouldn't light up. I hope there is a fix for it. All other features on it are great. Hit?????[/quote]

Simply wondering if the Attomizer is to screw in to such a point of a click or point of no more movement? Mine continues to spin and not certain if i have it fully engaged. Enjoying the JS vape tremendously yet my attomizer seems still to be burning some primer accounting for what some have described as the "plastic flavor"?
Thoroughly impressed by the Janty Stick despite some lingering basic q's that may have been covered in a users manual that i never received.
Simply an amazing looking gadget.....and as another current thread states .....we of the vapors do so enjoy our gadgets.

You probably are turning the cartridge which will always spin. Make sure you are turning the actual atomizer..........:thumb:

 :oops:Yeah! thanx El >i did realize the absurdity and after since maybe tightening a bit and atty shaping up: even light hits producing satisfying vape. Seems it is maybe the pursuit of the youtube cloud that finds some of my larger hits somewhat less flavorable. Fun experimenting with these units and finding appropriate styles for current needs. A bit of "set, setting, and dose"...Zen And The Art Of Vaping:cool: who knows? I'd buy it with some Cherry Garcia 24mg.

One more day of Vacation? Rain or shine, IT AINT THE OFFICE! Enjoy the vacationing and a good view of the chemtrails.

It took a few hours of using mine to get the atomizer trained. Basically had to burn off the primer gunk and now it makes HUGE clouds for me. Even more than my Kissbox does with the USB passthrough. A buddy at work with a Dura looked at what I'm getting compared to his and was just shocked.

If your attomizer is glowing red, maybe you should put some more liquid in it, eh?

What juice are you using? JC seemed to produce significantly less vapor for me in both of my Janty products than the Janty juice itself.

almost 5 days now, and the Stick is proving to be the most dissapointing purchase ever! :nah:
I am suffering trying to produce even the minimum amount of vapor!!!
And, yes, i've tried everything, from new atomizers, old atomizers, different liquids, different batteries, absolutly everything....

Since i hear such a good feedback from everyone else, i guess that i am just the unlucky one that has got a defective item... :(

I'll give it one last chance with a couple of new atomizers that i ordered, and if nothing changes, i'll ship it back to Janty...

Thank god my 501 still works!

Undertaker have you tried cleaning your stick? Sounds to me like it might be flooded.

At least once a day I stick a rolled up paper towel in the atomizer to sop up any excess liquid. If that fails to produce vapor,
I take out the atomizer and stick the rolled up paper towel in the hole where the atomizer goes (ionizer shaft). Once cleaned it always gives me the desired vapor.

I could be wrong but I think that because the stick is almost completely sealed, that condensation builds up in the atomizer
& the "ionizer shaft" as Janty calls it. I think it's condensation because it seems to be thinner and more runny than e-liquid.

Their manual says:
CLEANING
When necessary, use a tissue paper to clean the ionizer shaft in order to remove moisture.

If changing the battery and topping off the cart doesn't help me, cleaning always returns my stick to "just from the factory" condition.

I strictly use carts & don't overfill but I am always amazed at how much moisture is in the "ionizer shaft"

Just a suggestion, hope you get it worked out. :)

nevergonnaleavetn, thanks for the tip... No change however!

The funny thing is that this little device has potential! When it works it is the most amazing thing i have vaped so far. However, it doesn't always work...
My guess (and i may be 1000% wrong here) is that there is some electrical problem with it. Almost 50% of the time it feels "underpowered", even when on the USB. The LED works, the atomizer works, however the juice just doesn't seem to vaporize...

Oh, well.... S***t happens! :(

I've had the V2 for a week or so. My feelings are mixed, particularly since today I may be developing switch problems, and it does leak. It has turned on by itself one or two times, and doesn't seem to turn off when switch is released, has to go "into the red". Also, it seems my pen style 801 and Janty Kissbox just taste better. The Stick provides vapor, but the flavor is lacking....

I'm a little confused about posters that have taste issues with the stick. Since the stick is basically just a way to hook up a big, cheap battery to the 801 atomizer, you should be looking to change the juice or atomizer to find the combination that suits your vaping needs. It will most certainly be different than your previous devices, since the power is different, it will affect how your atomizer behaves. Once you find the combination however, you'll be happy, I bet.

There are a lot of ways to pump flavor up, including buying double ratio flavors directly from suppliers, adding your own flavor to vendor flavors, or by mixing your own, as the DIY subforum on this board discusses at length. Also, the flavors themselves are sensitive to the atty power applied, some flavors just don't like certain attys for various reasons, so maybe take a look at some sampler packs from the suppliers and choose another that interests you. Personally, I like just a hint of flue cured tobacco and an even smaller hint of menthol flavors with my nicotine, so I'm pretty easy to please.
