Hi everyone

I registered on JantyUSA and was ready to make my first order from Janty. Only one set and one bottle of juice and go to the checkout to find that the shipping cost is a ridiculous $68.00.

I normally paid between $4 and $6 from USA sellers or $15 from China but $68 to ship to US Zip Code 00771 is just ridiculous, is a theft, no way.

I have tried to re-create this situation and have been unable to replicate it. Is it possible that when checking out you've accidentally changed the country to something other that the United States? The only way the $60 shipping should show up is for countries that are far away from the US. USA shipping rates vary between $7.95 - $31.50 depending on the service that you select during checkout. Please email us at orders@jantyusa.com if you continue to experience these problems and we will review additional settings.

Thanks!
Jeff

[Edit: NM they posted as I posted lol]

It might be a glitch. Maybe try and contact them directly? Sometimes shipping to US territories is considered internation shipping depending on the method of shipping they use or how their system calculates certain zipcodes. I know I go through this with the online company I work for sometimes since I handle most of the shipping requests and I have to manual calculate the shipping instead.

Hey everyone. The only time that we don't ship out items the same day is when the item is a pre-sale item. In the case of a pre-sale item we typically mark this in both the Item Status section and also include a large note above the description with an "expected shipping date". In addition we will typically post this in our sticky news section which shows up on the top of the page of every page on the site. We really try to make several mentions that the item is a pre-sale item to avoid any confusion. Other that pre-sale marked items all of our orders received by 3:00 PM CST are shipped out the same day.

Also, our shipping charges are polled directly from ups.com when you checkout using our system.

I hope that helps answer any questions and I do apologize for any confusion regarding this.

Jeff, I think this sticky news section was one of the primary causes for the confusion. Up until today or yesterday it showed an expected ship date of the 15th, along with stating that we should have our ego orders in hand before Christmas. So if I'm after this rad new ecig I heard about at JantyUSA.com, I read the sticky news as soon as I hit the Janty site, follow the "direct link" provided to the Ego order page, see that there are 113 in stock, get excited, pay for 2nd day air (in my case), get a confirmation email, and nowhere in these pages/emails are there any notes about delays, etc., I end up confused and/or disappointed. If I didn't frequent ECF, I really wouldn't know whats going on and would probably be really upset.

I read in another thread that shipping is being upgraded a level, true?

I'm not upset, but definitely see how people could be, and wouldn't blame them for being so.

Thanks for the replies.

Puerto Rico is a US territory but closest than say Hawaii or Alaska and I had never paid more than $8 for shipping when buying supplies from USA ecigs suppliers. I send packages to the states via Priority with confirmation for under $6 and or First Class Mail with confirmation for under $3.

Your sistem doesn't allow me to select United States like I do in my orders from others sites.
