Hey,
Well, thats right. My atty that came with the eGo has died! It died this morning @ 10:03am and nothing works. I have tried other PV's and nothing. I blew through the atty both ways, thinking I might have flooded it, nothing.. Not even a crack, crackle and not even turning any color inside. DAMN. That hurt.. At least I was smart and bought a few atty's when I ordered the eGo.

Is that about additional colours, or about selling them separately at all?
I'm curious about this one too. I tend to keep two and sometimes three 510s going at the same time to combat the attys heating up and it would be a bit of a downer to have one ego be all pretty and complete and the other one stripped down without a cover.

I really dont see how this is possible - i use only one atomizer, and i vape quite hard - and others on this forum vape even harder, and none of us have a problem with the attys overheating.

The problem for us, is that we want to avoid people buying one ego set + one spare atty cover - and then splitting up the set into two full egos = as that is not the point of the ego set.

So - we are debating what to do : do we overprice the atomizer covers? Do we bundle them with other stuff - we need to figure out a solution that will provide our users with what they want, without shooting ourselves in the foot, if you understand what i mean ;)

Surely you are going to have this same issue with spare batteries?

Are they going to be inflated or come as a bundle package also?

I think the point is that you need THREE pieces to make up a fully outfitted eGo.

You can foil the clever piecemealer (lol) by disrupting the price point of only one of the three pieces, and the one that would least affect legitimate purchasers would be the cover. ;)

Well they would also need another atomizer;) What's wrong with having two eGo's going? Perhaps I would like one ready to vape filled with a different flavor, Or one designated for the car:D

I know that and I opened up a ticket for Ethan, but no answer as of yet. Just that it was working so well, then *POOF* nothing...
I am waiting on an answer from Ethan. Hey, at least I had bought 3 more when I ordered the eGo. Smart thinking on me, I'll tell ya that!;)

beep beep beep.....Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Side note...Ethan is running a bit slow today, so bear with me...That football game hurt pretty bad....I'll just plug in....wait...wait...I mean drink some coffee and I should be back to full charge...DANG....I mean should get to moving a bit faster

;)

Ethan

Just to clarify, by football game I mean the national championship that was played out last night....NOT a good football week for Ethan...First TCU loses....Then Texas loses.....C'MON COWBOYS! Please don't start a verbal war with me if you hate the Cowboys...I don't have the power supply....er, I mean energy.

:p

Not necessarily. In theory you need two things to make an ego - the battery and the atomizer cover: The atomizer is generic.

So - for the batteries, yes it will be possible for someone to buy one extra battery, and put his /her own atty on it and smoke: however, he /she wont have an ego by looks, or the heavy throat hit (due to lack of atomizer cover).

Buuut lets not talk about this anymore for now - i am investigating it, and we are trying to make everyone happy about this ;)

Ill do my best, promise!

Well just my luck, had a switch failure. Was taking a draw and smoke came out from under the button (not vape...SMOKE) followed by a harsh electrical smell, now nothing from battery no light or nothing. Guess its time to open a warranty ticket. But still love this eGo!!! Nothng is perfect but its dang close. :)

Ugh. That doesnt sound too good.

Make a helpdesk ticket - and write what you wrote here, then they will contact you with how to return it - and ofcourse you will get a new one.

At the same time ill make sure that your damaged battery gets sent to the factory for further testing, so we see exactly what caused this!

Hope that helps! =/
