Thank you!

And yes.. i am actually working on it right now =)

Now this is not something i want you guys to use against me, but i am working on it now, hoping that i will be able to have the first "real" prototype mould ready during next week. But, this does not mean that the tesla filter is out like in 8 days - it means that were getting closer to the real world tests! ;)

Keep up the work Mik. That will be a blockbuster. That almost solves every problem I have with vaping.

The eGo is better than the 510 in every way. All you need is the eGo. No PCC, extra chargers, or worry. The vapor is far more consistent.

Plus, I was always flooding my 510 and I would have to blow out the cartridge constantly. Always have juice in the mouth. My experience so far, is that I am doing this very little with the eGo. For whatever reason, it seems to be using the juice in a more efficient manner. And I have had about 5 of the 510 batteries and at least 15 different atomizers, and there was always this problem with the stock 510.

The eGo is just far easier in every way. It's like one stop shopping. You have an eGo and a bottle of juice, and you are set.

It also removes a lot of the anxiety, because instead of worrying and carrying multiple components, I have been able to simplify everything.

I can't even begin to imagine how pathetic this must sound, but I DREAM of the Tesla filter. I have given up on cartridges completely, but the Tesla filter sounds like it could be the solution to my cartridge woes.

Damn you guys are making me all nervous here... ;)

Anyways, alot of you are asking, and this is NOT the thread for discussing it but i will tell you a bit more ( ofcourse i cant tell you.. anything really but.. )

I have 3 versions of it in mind:

These 3 versions are totally different from one another. I will try to explain a bit about them, without.. saying too much - the ONLY reason im doing this is because i could imagine that its a long wait - and i also want you to know that there might be a chance that this will work flawlessly, - or just be better than whats out there now - if you understand my point.

Version 1)

This version uses some filling material. This works really good - it enables me to smoke for 1 hour+ on a 510 cart and the taste is perfect 90% of the time. The last 10% the taste can be a bit off, but nothing that makes you go "what! .. ". In the finished prototype of this version it will probably be closer to 95% of the time that its good - but i doubt it will work 100% for everyone. It is however cheap to make and easy to use.

Version 2)

This uses no filling material - in this the user of the filter decides when to release the liquid. It reminds me of dripping, but in a controlled way - and no its not a juicebox. ;) This version could / could not work as a final product - i am testing that also, and i will have a final prototype made of it soon, so its quite early to tell; however i dont see why it wouldnt work. But.. you never know. ;)

Version 3)

This version uses no filling material, and dispenses liquid in small doses everytime you draw on the mouthpiece. Again, this SHOULD work - but i still need a final prototype to be made up to test it.

--- All of the above are ideas/inventions i have made while both studying others mods, and it also has ideas that noone else has done. My aim is NOT to say "Look at me i did this and that", my aim is simply to make something that will improve the way we vape now - for all of us.

I personally ( and i have said this before ) dont care who does this first - as long as it gets done; We need it. So, having said that i hope you guys will end up liking the final product once we do get there - and i do hope you all will realise that you can NOT please everyone. I do try my best though - but.. just keep that in mind.

You might not realise it, but alooooooooooot of eyes are on me for this filter now - and i dont mind that - but it does make me nervous, and i hope you all can respect that. Afterall i never said that i have made an invention that _will_ work, and that is the best thing since sliced bread - i merely stated that ive made an invention that works right now, and ive documented it in a video - that video, i believe is the only video online of _anyone_ smoking an e-cig with that much vapor for 20 mins consistently, while having a good flavor!

-- and i should mention that all three versions will only be the same size as an equivalent of the cartridge they are ment to be: ie 510 will be 510 size, 801 will be 801 size - unless we redesign the cartridge you wont be able to tell the difference in appearance from the outside.

So - yes, if i can make it work, if this pans out right, it will beat sliced bread - but.. there IS alot of IF's still.

Oh and JustJulie, it doesnt sound pathetic.. i dream of it too. In my dreams i always find a new way where it will be improved..- then i wake up, and i cant remember it ..

=/

Quite the antithesis, Moddess. You are a PV toting trend setter.

(the fact that you will buy just about anything, then do a review that can dissuade me from crap and/or enlighten me toward the latest/greatest vaping panacea thus saving me hundreds of dollars is not withstanding)

Go ahead and put JJ on the pre-order list, Mik. She's good for the cash. Hell, give the girl some stock in the company -- she's earned it.

Hehe, well i havent seen too much of Julie here - only recently i believe, but yes it does seem like people listen to her.

Heres a fun Julie fact btw:

Well, i do tend to browse around sometimes, and i stumbled upon this post where someone - and im not naming any names (julie) - mentioned that if i did make the tesla filter and it worked, she would name her dog after me.

Thats my motivation. I wanna see the mutt that will carry my name. Why else would i be up at 01:00 am working on an invention on a saturday?

I can't make any guarantees but from what little I can see, which isn't much today, it appears as if the atomizer for the Ego is like like the ones that come with the Janty Stick only the mouthpiece is the 510 cartridge. If this is the case, this means one can drip the e-liquid into the atty to make the hits draw more like the Janty Stick vs the 510.

I'm fighting off conjunctivitis so I can't tell for sure if that's what it resembles most. Perhaps someone with more vision & with working vision w/o the retinal prob, optic nerve prob, & a fresh yet annoying case of pink eye. (My little one had it for 2 weeks & it seems she shared; I'm using the doctor-prescribed ophthalmic drops left over from her treatment. It was more than enough for 3 to 4 pink eye runs of meds.) I hate conjunctivitis/pink eye. It's irritating at first, then painful, and the drops makes it hurt even worse plus it's downright annoying not to mention takes forever to clear up as well as contagious. I was careful so I have no idea how in the world I got it.

I'd like to try the Ego but with the cost, it's well outside my budget right now.

If the ego is the same as a joye510 and has the same voltage other than the battery life why is ego better?

Mik, don't get too stressed out. Anything is an improvement over direct dripping and using cartridges. It doesn't have to be the most perfect solution right now, even though it will come in the future. I appreciate the little bits of information, it makes things more hopeful.

I would prefer a non filler cartridge, but would be open to it.

Nice to see your prose hit the screen again, Paise. You're a pleasure to read as always, ma'am.

The eGo is basically a standard 510 but on steroids. There are two distinct advantages to the eGo that separates it from it's baby brother the Janty Dura or any standard 510.

First is a new battery cell design. The first PVs used flashlight battery technology. It works, but the atomizer draws a lot more current than does a group of LEDs. The new battery engineering compensates for that heavy draw resulting in stunning battery longevity. Where I would get an hour and half from a standard 510 battery, I'm now getting 8+ hours from the eGo.

The second feature is an improved air flow intake. The tapered shroud redirects and limits the intake which makes for a nice tight, analog-like draw. It's a very pleasant, consistent vape.

Don't strain your eyes trying to decipher the eGo, Paise. The device is ever so slightly longer than a standard 510 and maybe twice the width. It's very attractive in its simplicity. Pretty much, it's a normal 510 that spent a few weeks in the weight room. =)

Feel better soon. You're missed.

And I am completely and utterly sincere. Hell, I'll BUY a dog to name it after you. In the alternative, I will rename our puppy, who, God love her, was named by our contrary teenager. The poor dog, a dorkie (dachshund/yorkie mix), is named . . . wait for it . . . Kitty. I call her Kit, but she could easily get used to Mik.

I will also customize an eGo cover to read, "Mik Rocks."

This, I swear on my Janty eGo . . . so help me, God.

ROFL, Richie.

But, yeah, he's right . . . I'll be the first in line on the Tesla filter, whatever its ultimate design.

Lucky searches for the perfect battery . . . I am searching for the perfect liquid delivery system. :)

I Have the eGo and I was disappointed that the cart is smaller than the JoyStick I have. I heard a rumor that they will make a new eGo with the large cart. So now I will need to buy another cig. I Guess they are shearing the Sheep. I wish they would make a cig that has a stronger atomizer, large cart and battery because I am a heavy smoker and I am tired of refilling every 10 min or so.

Hi Richi & Everyone else:

I swear it felt as though I abandoned you guys even though I didn't. If memory serves me right, I believe I mentioned in my first post to the board that should I disappear for a while not to take it personally because it was likely my absence was because of a) I was in a flare & felt so bad I couldn't get online or b) I'd come down with some illness b/c of a faulty immune system since most colds, viruses, & bacterial infections tend to flock to me like seagulls when one throws torn shreds of bread off the stern of a boat, or c) I'd ended up in the hospital due to either a or b. I was fortunate this time. I did get sick, terribly sick but at least I didn't end up in the hospital.

Perhaps in a few days to a couple of weeks my vision will stabilize enough for me to use the zoom program to physically see, as much as possible anyhow, what the Ego e-cig from Janty's newest line. Like others, I'd truly like to have an e-cig with a larger reservoir for the e-liquid so I wouldn't have to keep refilling the darn thing. I wish there was some way to save the atomizers so they'd last longer too but oh well, perhaps in time. I'm keeping my proverbial fingers crossed on that one. LOL!

Richie, thanks so much for the description of the e-cig. It sounds like a major upgrade from the previous models. It helps tremendously.

I came down with the H1N1 flu after my youngest, whose now a full teenager (as of Jan. 10th). The H1N1 was going around her school so she caught it then brought it home. Her dad, his mother, and I all became ill with it despite our best efforts to isolate me from them on doctor's orders with the hope that i wouldn't become ill with it but I did. I was the only one who had infection after infection for more than 4 months. I can't tell you how sick I am of taking antibiotics. It took 4 to 5 runs of different ones to finally break the upper respiratory, sinus infections (2x), and ear infections (both ears including inner ear). There is some good news to share though. This was the first cold & flu season I haven't come down with bronchitis. My doctor believes and I'm quite sure myself that the reason I didn't get bronchitis this time is because I was on the e-cigs versus traditional analog cigarettes. I had no wheezes in my chest either; however, I did get the upper respiratory infections that caused my head to become so stuffy I had to resort to prescription meds to open my head enough for me to breath through my nose, which helped ease my sore throat. (I'm a mouth-breather when my head is stuffy & with heat being drying as it is, it makes my throat sore when I have to breath through my mouth vs my nose)... Now if I can get rid of the vertigo, I'll feel much better.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful new year. I made my New Year's resolution this year even though I'm not a firm believer in them. But anyhow, my resolution was to continue to stay away from analog cigarettes since the e-cigs have helped so much & I promised myself I would continue to spread the word about the benefits of e-cigarettes versus traditional ones particularly since I'm living proof the e-cigarettes make a tremendous amount of difference in one's health compared to traditional analog cigarettes.

Warmest wishes to everyone,

Paise
