Would you advise against my purchase of the eGo based on the above?

I hereby officially confess that I have never used a Janty liquid, although I prefer their hardware by a wide margin by now. (And believe me, I'm on a tight budget.) That's not because I believe there's anything wrong with those liquids, it's just that I am a dedicated DIYler when it comes to liquid.

I still see no reason whatever to buy non-Janty stuff. (Although if somebody comes out with a blue eGo, all bets are off. As long as it isn't that other company, of course.)

Hey guys,

Well the word tuning might be a bit off.

What we mean is that we can vouch for the quality of both our products and our liquids. Some liquid manufacturers for instance do have a tendency of using alot of.. well shall we say not-so-nice ingredients that typically do clog up an atomizer fast and in other ways pollute the environment inside with things that will make your atomizer operate less than ideal.

So when we say tuned to, we mean that when we make, for instance the eGo and test it out on one of our own atomizers, then we also use our OWN juices. This combination we know works, and we know it wont leave residue that will damage, clog and so forth.

From our tests with other brands ( a wide selection from across the globe ) we see alot of cases where the residue will cause clogs, and less than ideal working environments for the atomizer.

I hope that makes more sense. Ofcourse you can buy an eGo and use it with any liquid you want - it is not about choosing the eGo or another PV for use with a third party liquid, it is more about selecting your components, here included liquid, carefully so you dont get non-quality stuff - seeing as that often IS part of the problems described in many cases across the board.

So in short, use our atomizers, our hardware and our liquids just as you want to - none of these are inferior to anyone elses product; But know that when used together, they are fantastic compliments to eachother both in taste, but also in quality.

I hope that makes sense ;)

Speaking of being out of stock ...

I really like my Kissbox. But, I'm down to one atty and one battery. :(

EDIT: Oooooo, OOOOooo. Premature post, I just checked and the atties are in stock. Now, I have to check my bank account, LOL. It sure has been a long dry period.

What about the TAWA Atties?

I like the idea of a product with varying looks. Maybe V4 of the stick can have the status LED show through a ring around the switch. This way a slip on case would be real easy to make. Kind of like Ipod skins... maybe even make them out of silicone or click together plastic 2 piece shells.

Wouldn't a ring around the switch make the stealth vapers twitch?

I love my wood Stick! It looks great and it feels just as good as the rubbery black Stick!

Just an observation...

I have noticed with the LR atty... just as one would with a HV device.... that not all liquids respond well to the increase in power. Some love it.. some can get quite harsh.

Also... I have noticed that my LR atties tend to "mellow" just a little bit with age.. as they become "gunked".

yeah i agree with that, have you tried nhaler`s high voltage e-liquid? less nic, different mix of pg/vg, water and seems to be a highly prized way for high voltage pv use...

I tried another LR atty recently and I would have to agree with the some of the other responses - TH was definitely stronger but not in a good way, it consummed more juice but with less actual flavor, and I didn't see a noticeable increase in vapor production (this might be due to the fact that I was testing it using the PTB cart mod and the vapor production is already outrageous using this mod). Finally, original cart that came with the unit had noticably harder draw so I replaced it with a Janty cart only to find that the Janty cart was apparently slightly smaller in diameter and had a tendency to separate while I was vaping!! Oh, and not a major issue but this other LR atty was slightly shorter as well. Can't really comment on potential battery life impact because I didn't use it long enough...

Now, having said all that, I'll still definitely give the Janty LR version a try when it becomes available. Sadly, there are considerable variations in quality among the various suppliers and therefore I wouldn't be surprised to discover that an actual Janty product might well provide a much better LR vaping experience ;)
