It's really bad V3 can't use pouch.

Plastic ring around switch must be raised by 2mm, so it will be just above the switch. This will not change shape, but it will let us use pouch or pants pocket without to be afraid of burning aty.

We need a V3.1 :)

I think the pouch will work! Put the button to the outside and bend the leather out kinda v shaped. Theres room for the button. Either that or punch a hole in the pouch for the button. that would look bad in the front and I dont know if its possible to punch in the back with the medal clip.

That is what we pay for Janty liquid - the best there is (was) in my book. 3,786 ml per US gallon x .995 per ml. Tell me there isn't a TON of profit in liquid sales. That is about the same cost as 50+ JSV3 sets....and no warranty returns!

I'm willing to spend $3,767 per gallon...I WANT MY ORIGINAL FORMULA CAPPUCCINO!!!!!

I have a JSv2 that I've had right at four months. I'm starting to experience an intermittent problem with the switch. I'm having to press harder and harder to get it to activate, and it cuts off randomly while still pressing the button. We all know this is a known issue...

My question is, if I send it back for warranty replacement, will I receive a JSv3 or another v2? Honestly, after reading about all the others with similar problems and the fact that the v3 has a completely redesigned switch to address the issue, I don't want another v2. If an exact replacement is my only option, I'll be glad to take the replacement and immediately sell it at a loss in order to purchase another device from a different vendor.

I've been really eyeing the eGo, but am now afraid to throw almost $100 at something that might potentially fail down the road, only to be told that the vendor will only be willing to give me another device that potentially will have the same issues down the road.

Thanks in advance!

Hey

Good to hear - either way its up to the customers to select where they buy their stuff. I think our kit + prices speak for themselves. ;)
Exactly, I have a problem with that other company and the fact that they can so blatantly ignore e-commerce laws...and why it bothered me personally so much that they were going to beat you guys to the market with your design as far as the accessories go...I so want the eGo and was gonna get it either way but didn't want to be forced into business with them.

Well, it's hardly TW's duty to be so decent to wait till Janty gets going. Maybe bad style, but this is business. And since most buyers probably won't read this forum, or feel the same way about this, they would be stupid to wait if they can find a way of selling them early. (Decent, but stupid.)

My gripes with TW have more to do with their grossly inflated shipping charges (10 quids to ship anywhere in the EU, no matter what) and their very mixed idea of service. Which means that if Janty even reasonably matches their price, chances are excellent that it's not TW that is going to get my money. (And they said they will.)

Silver? How about a Platinum? Thats nicer to me than silver. As I see it, silver is very commen and shows a lot of diff prints (fingers) unless it a diff color silver than what I am thinking about. How about a diff color LED too? The blue looked sweet on your proto type Mik.That will like nice, specially with a Platinum color. But silver? I like the Black, no to the white but silver?
I will tell you what.. Put a blue LED with the silver and I will get it that way. Stainless Silver could it be?
I know.. How about metalic apple red? Or Purple metalic? Or even a deep blue metalic?

Hey

It is chrome, - not silver sorry.

And i never showed a prototype with a blue led - i showed one with a red light. ;)

As for now i believe we are keeping the white LED.

Okay, so the more expensive of the attys Janty sells have the 6 month warranty & that's awesome! My question is how many replacements within the 6 months is permitted? Its well established that if one dies within the 6 months & you get it replaced but what happens if the replacement dies still within the original/initial 6 month period?

Man it's a slow post-election day in Boston.

Yeah, tell me about it. I'm pretty upset about it, too many people didn't make the party vote & instead focused on the individuals I think & now we're screwed again... but she expected it to be an easy shoe in & took a vacation instead of campaigning, her own damn fault I suppose.:(

But anyway, back on topic/track, how many times can you have an atty replaced with the Janty 6 month warranty?

I once replaced an atty twice within the warranty period . . . one died, and the other, well, I just didn't feel like it vaped well (which is quite subjective). Both replaced promptly, no muss, no fuss.

That was the only time, though, I had to replace an atty under warranty . . . for the most part, those suckers keep on going.
