pink...omg.... you mean we produce just 1 for you? :p.

Oh a one of a kind! :D

I was mostly just curious if Janty had any plans for something like Janty color sticks down the road, where the silver part came in a varity of colors...like pink, omg yes PINK! Though, if you guys do custom paint jobs that would be sweet to know too. ;)

Hey Ludo,

I just had a quick question about the Janty Stick automatic? Is the switch a mechanical type like on the 801 series batteries? Or is it electronic like the switches on the M401 series?

I love the electronic switch on the M401 series. I've had great experiences with batteries from Puresmoker and Intellicig. Lately though, I've tried a couple batteries from other suppliers, and they just weren't up to par. I'd have to pull really hard to get the switch to activate, or slowly increase my pull to keep the battery activated.

801 mechanical switch batteries are sort of hit or miss with me. Half of them work for me, half don't. Sometimes, liquid will accidentally leak into the battery, making the switch "sticky."

So, I suppose my question is, what kind of switch is it, and how sensitive is it?

I'm leaning towards the manual Stick just to avoid all the aforementioned problems.

Also, is the battery sealed from the atomizer? I know with penstyles, if you accidentally overfill your cartridge and it runs out of the atomizer, you can just disassemble your PV and wipe the bottom of the atomizer and the top of the battery. What do you do with the Janty Stick if this happens?

I was wondering the exact same thing; although, I went ahead and opted for the Automatic Janty Stick on my order this morning. I have always experienced better vaping w/ pv's that have automatic, as opposed to, manual switches (personal preference I guess). I find that I use my automatic batteries more on my 510 and Kissbox, as opposed to the manual switches (I don't drip often either and am a cart user...so that's probably why I have better luck w/ automatic switches). I even have a new mod that is strictly manual for an 801 which is cool; although, can't seem to get into it. Just seems like there is harsher vaper and less flavor (even though I use a ton of juice).

For what it's worth...I have had very positive experiences w/ Janty products in the past (hope I didn't just jinx my new Janty Stick when it arrives :p) and decided to opt for the automatic switch and will just monitor the juice in the atomizer more so/ blow out when needed.

Did you notice that it appears on the Janty site that the vent hole design (painted on the manual Stick) appears to be above the "Janty" logo on the automatic version (as opposed to below the "Janty" logo on the manual version) and it looks like there is a small button at the bottom also?? I'm hoping that on the automatic it is truly an air hole to activate the atomizer (we'll see in a few weeks). Ludo or Jeff...could either one of you confirm? Let me know if anyone out there gets the automatic stick and how the vapor production is compared to the manual.

Can't wait for the Stick Baby!!:D

What happens if the battery is accidentally placed the wrong way in? does it explode or just not work!?
It sends an automatic generated email message to your JANTY account to notify you of the wrong placement of the battery. "+" goes on top and "-" goes at the bottom :)

s the switch a mechanical type like on the 801 series batteries? Or is it electronic like the switches on the M401 series?

First of all I would like to state clearly that JANTY is the original developer of manual switched devices and any other 801 etc are copies of our development. We also hold the unique patents for these designs which can be found at OHIM - Home

It is not really encouraging to keep developing when we see how history can be forgotten so quickly :(

The manual switch on the JANTY STICK is no where near any switch you have ever seen on an electronic cigarette.

Also, is the battery sealed from the atomizer?
Yes it is, so you can drip as much as you like.

if you accidentally overfill your cartridge and it runs out of the atomizer, you can just disassemble your PV and wipe the bottom of the atomizer and the top of the battery. What do you do with the Janty Stick if this happens?

You unscrew the atomizer and use a kleenex to wipe the interior tube that holds the atomizer. If you open the JantyStick body (I mean if you try to disassemble), you will break all contacts and the device becomes unusable.

The air hole is not a real air hole, it is part of the outlook design. There is no need for an air hole.

I've got a technical question about the Stick - while connected to a usb port, can it work without a battery inside? And more importantly, does it cut the power to battery when it's fully charged?

I'm asking because my Kissbox passthrough battery died and I started reading about Li-Ion batteries - my guess is it died because it was connected 24/7 to my laptop (yup, I'm a geek:p), and applying current to a fully charged battery is said to significantly shorten it's lifespan.

So if it doesn't cut the power automatically, nor signal in any way whether the battery is fully charged, users would have to pay attention not to leave it connected for longer then an hour or so...

It will not work without the 360 Mah rechargeable e-cig battery inside. This battery protects your computer and your device. When you are connected to your computer or any other power outlet by using the mini USB cable/a USB power outlet adaptor, the device will charge until it is fully charged, no matter if you use it or not. When you use it it wont charge, when you do not use it it will charge the battery.

You should never leave anything connected to your computer without supervising. Our manuals clearly state to disconnect everything when you are not supervising the device.

Hi all
There are at least 5 videos of the Janty Stick out there so I see no point in adding more. Today was my first full day using the Stick and this IMOA is a must for any E-cig smoker out there. It vapes like the Dura C or 510 but with the capacity of the pen style and it draws down the liquid form the cart better then my Kissbox. It has a nice draw with the Kissbox atomizer and an easer draw with generic atomizer think that due to the cross shaped hole pattern on the atomizer base.
Of course it’s the form factor that’s the big thing here it feels great in your hand and the switch is well placed with a great textile feel to it. The combo USB pass-through and charger is great I call this my grab and go e-cig I can be on my computer at home or work and with my USB car adapter just unplug it and go --- no unscrewing a battery and replacing it with a standard one the batteries lasted me for 5 hours + of heavy vapping and takes an hour or so to recharge.
The cutoff begins to turn red with a purple color at about 6 seconds and cuts out at 11 seconds with a flashing red LED then you just start up again if you wish! but with the big hit you get there’s no need to hit it again right away. The cut off has been very consistent I take a large draw and I seem to stop as it begins to change color.
The Battery cover is very nice you don’t need to torque this cap down and I can unscrew it with a finger nail to get it started then use my finger to do the rest. It does have screw driver slots if you get it too tight. I tried a US Dime $0.10 the thinness coin in the U.S. and it won’t fit.
The JANTY STICK will sell for 79.95 USD/59.59 EURO with a $10.00 off for the presale and this is what you get for that price:

1 x JANTY STICK BODY
1 x classic atomizer under warranty
2 x E-CIGAR BATTERIES
1 x Mini USB cable for charging AND vaping through computer/car/power outlet
5 x Free Classic carts
1 x Unique designed leather carrying pouch

I ordered a LIMITED EDITION auto and looking forward to using the auto switch we will see which one I like the best
Thank you Janty for giving me the opportunity to beta test and thank all of you on the forum for all your help and reviews

Bob
