Lucky they are protected only their protection is from the pcb just like your cell phone
so whats the problem with the protection inside the device ?
just pull of one of these protected battys, sometimes you may be shocked what this protection circuit really is.
period![]()
lucky...... the battery is protected from the pcb just like your cell phone it can't be over discharged in their device just like your your cell phone or if you have a rn4075If the button does accidentally get depressed for any length of time, it will overdischarge the unprotected battery. When you go to put that same overdischarged, unprotected battery into a charger, it can (not will) cause a short inside the battery and a resulting explosion. Hopefully their 11 second cut off they put in place takes care of this.![]()

Lucky all due respect... you don't seem to understand that THE PROTECTION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR is in the circuitry, you can either buy a battery with it built in or spend more money by using a circuit board with it built in. There is absolutely no difference between the two other than janty spent more money to design a circuit board with the protection so you don't have to purchase a more expensive battery.
The delivery date on the stick was May 26th when they were pre-order. Now it is June 4th. Is this date for current orders or for the pre-orders as well? Ok, so what? I'm an impatient little kid waiting for his new toy.![]()
