Sorry arv, but I did look briefly. Lately my productivity has taken a sharp decline due to the time spent on this forum. I'm trying to limit my time spent daily on this forum, as well as limiting my daily nicotine intake.

After reading all these posts on battery safety, it made me look up some info on lithium ion batteries. Now everyone else but me probably knows this but...You should never leave your ecig batteries in a hot car. A car parked in Arizona during the summer can reach over 200 degrees F.

If you are that scared of a battery fire get one of these, I use one

From what I've read it's like this. If a battery overdischarges, it somehow damages it. Then, when it's charging, it heats up and may catch fire or explode.

So i wouldn't worry about anything blowing up in my pocket. Charging batteries on the night stand next tou your bed might not be a good idea, though.

Yes, the flap is velcro closure style, so you can run the power cable into the sack and any accident is nicely contained. It's true most of the risk is during charging and is still very small, I am just very VERY concerned with safety. No need for anybody to be alarmed here. It is overkill but some of us with battery anxiety might like to try it

I'm no battery expert so I don't know if their is any difference between the 3.7V cigar battery and the 3.6V from the link. yes they can, i have 6 of them and use the kissbox cable sometimes as an addirional charger for my cigar batteries. it doesnt bring them to 100% but if i have to charge lots of batteries its helpful.

they have only one little problem if you use them in an cigar, the rubber on the bottom has to be cut off to make contact.
easy 5 sec job after the 1st time. maybe this has to be done if you use them on the stick too, depends on the spring used by janty

Frankly, I'd rather see something like a closed glass box - this way I could see LEDs telling me whether the batteries are charged already.

2 channels 8.81$ and can charge most batteries used by ecigmods.

Exactly what I ordered!
Well, my charger is the black one, and I only took 2 batteries.

The only problem is, I ordered it on 05/10 and the status is still "waiting for supplier". I later ordered something else and that's already sent.

A Stick question:
Ludo, how heat resistant is the Stick body, especially the atomizer compartment?
I mean, atomizers get really hot sometimes - isn't there going to be any damage when it's enclosed in such a narrow compartment?

The body is very resistant. It will get a little bit warm but not hot as in "ouch...hot". I believe that is another advantage of the stick

I don't mind my atty getting hot - it tells me how much I'm abusing it and when to give it a rest.

I was just wondering whether it won't melt the Stick if the atty is closed up in there. But if you say it's resistant (and after all, you give the warranty), I trust you.

Don't know how plexiglass behaves on fire - but if it doesn't melt within 10 seconds, that would be the best option.

I was thinking about a cheap fish tank, but with see-through plastic coating on the outside - that would stop the shrapnel. But it's heavy and fragile, plexiglass idea seems better. Would need to have some kind of vent for the explosion not to brake it apart.
