I didn't receive an O-ring with mine either. Just rebuilt it with Ti and the vape is incredible - full of flavor. I am a bit confused, though. I connected it to my ipv4 and it kept reading Dry Coil, although the coil was saturated. Moved it over to my rDNA40 and had no issues. This is the first time I've used Ti wire - any suggestions?

I just did my first titanium coil too. Nice thick 24 AWG and used the Scottish Roll wicking method and now all my flooding issues are gone. I hardly have to open the juice control at all :)

Sorry can't help about the IPV4, titanium works fine on DNA40 and iStick TC40W both at 160C (320F).

Watching your video now... hour long might have to serialise it ;)

I couldn't get it to work on the IPV4. Started giving me SHORT messages - but it works fine on the VS.

Not sure to what video you are referring, but I don't think that message was aimed at me. :)

@WiSK @TheBloke @Freedom2Vape can anyone here compare flavor profiles of phenomenon lite to the merkava? Is one much better than the other? I've really narrowed down my searches. A 2nd RTA to be bought in 2 weeks time. A little overwhelming for me, when the first purchase for nearly 200 dollars didn't go well at all. Thanks.

Firstly, sorry to hear yoiu arent happy with the Tengu. Im sure that can be sorted out!
As for the Phenom and the Merkava, for me the Phenom with the momentous base beats the Merkava so far although I havent really tried hard to tweak the Merk at all. The phenom is a great atty. Im now using it with the PMMA flat-top tank. Easy refill and looks great. In fact if you go that route and buy the PMMA tank (comes as a pair), the base and the extreme chimney it is significantly cheaper.
Flavour wise at the moment i reckon my running order is
Spheroid V4/Phenom/erlkoenigin equal 1st, closely followed by the GEM and Tengu, then hurricane v1.2, Aqua SE and tilemahos v2 equal, Squape Rs and Taifun GS2 and Merkava

but this order is a bit false as it depends so much on how they are wicked and if they are really paired with their most suited juice types etc. Its so very subjective. Thats what makes it fun!!

Ahhhhh thank you good sir! It's ok. My tengu is currently being somewhat fixed up by tark so hopefully it will be substantially better once I get it back. He said I can either take it, or get store credit. I don't know what the heck else I would order on his site for 170 besides that!! All I can say is, now looking, I can get rtas for only 100 dollars that look and probably perform just as good!

The phenom seems to be an awfully popular one on this forum. I think I may have to go with it, just based on how darn nice it looks, and the accessories you can buy for the price. Oh, and mainly all the good reviews!

My gosh, steve, you also have a large collection. It seems that everyone I meet on here has an abundance of these things. Madness, I tell ya. Well I might already be on my second in a matter of 3 weeks so I guess I'm on my way!

Hi, I have some questions about building on the Merkava:

I just received my Merkava last week and today tried my very first coil build ever on it.
After a decent struggle I managed to get a coil going......hopefully this gets better...cause it took me about an hour.
Is there perhaps an easy way to trap the wires under the screws? Cause I find this the most frustrating step of the entire process (and the Merkva has pretty sizeable screws...when I look at my Kayfun...those screws are tiny!)

I also wanted to check the deck after some vaping, the Merkava should have the abilty to access the deck without draining the tank....but I can't figger out how that is supposed to work.
When I unscrew the base, the chimney comes out too, thus spilling the liquid..........is there a trick to it that I am missing?

Accessing the deck without draining the tank is simple. Turn it upside down, open the juice control all the way then unscrew the tank from the deck. Make sure you're gripping the middle section.

@TheotherSteveS Hello good man, I am about to push the buy button on 1 of 2 rebuildables. I know where you stand on your favorite flavor rtas out there, but am still eyeing the Merkava due to its simplicity and extremely dome shaped chamber. I am between the phenom and merkava right now, but would definitely want to know which one you feel is easier to build on. Both look relatively easy, but merkava looks like it just has a bit more space, which may mean a little less frustration? lol I don't know. Your thoughts are welcome, as are anyone else's.

Hi mate,

not much between them for build simplicity. The Merk is probably a bit trickier if anything. The Phenom is pretty much a kayfun build and the momentous base gives a bt more room for wicking. I like both but if I had to choose, I woukd probably go for the phenom in the format I suggested (extreme chimney, momentous base and the flat-top PMMA tank of which you get two). Be aware that the Merk has a much larger AF which might influence your decision ;) either way you cant lose really. They are both great atty's. I havent spent enough time optimising the Merk but im sure it can give great flavour!!

Thank you! I can't believe the Merava's an airier vape than the phenom momentous, what with one having afc on both sides and on merk, just the one. I've been sick since I posted to some knowledgable folks such as yourself, so haven't got myself to order one just yet. Now I see ubertoots are coming about again for a large run. Hmmmmm decisions decisions

Its a big hole on the Merk and the holes on the phenom are much smaller! The UTA is quite tight I hear...

The UTA has a wide slot which can be closed off using the AFC ring. I generally close it almost completely to get a very restrictive draw, because wide open, it is very airy IMO. Sorry the picture isn't better - phone camera.

Ahhh, that makes the decision making all the more more difficult lol Thanks @Freedom2Vape for the picture of it. @roxynoodle Yes! Just checked the website for giggles and saw that there are a lot more coming in soon. This was stated around 10/2. From the pictures shown, there are at least 80 ready. But don't take my word for it.

Yep, I looked, too. I still can't really justify the price to myself though.

Didn't know there would ever be more authentic Ubertoots. .I have both Coppervape clones. The first one of the UTA beta can lung hit. The v2 clone is m2l or restricted lung hit even full open. How is the authentic full open?
Wide open, the draw is very airy and very easy to take a lung hit. I don't much care for it at that setting though - the flavor loss is too great at the wattage I like to use (15w on a P3 Ti). Perhaps if I put it on the P-Radius and cranked the wattage up, it would work :D. I currently have it fairly tight to allow a restricted LH and enjoy the flavor I get from it.
For me, the wicking was the tricky part - at least initially (somewhat similar to the Rose in that I split my wick on each side). But now, I feel reasonably comfortable getting it setup to work the way I like to vape.
