I got it dialed in for me. 2.5mm nozzle with 60* bevels on both sides and a 0.5mm lift.

I love that I can dial this tank in with such a simple mod.
Nice!
Is it threaded?
How much are going to sell them to us for?
You need an Etsy or similar web shop setup! :D

It's a 4M-0.5 x 4mm insert.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost to have me make atty parts? This little insert would cost ~50$ based on time alone.

I'm getting so jealous seeing all these builds!
I don't even have a tracking number and the anticipation forced me to make a coil for this thing already.

Quick question. Does the drip tip stay fairly cool or does it get pretty hot? It's a big ole bad ... delrin drip tip so I'm hoping that it stays on the cooler side.

I went ahead with Subtanksupply, never used them before? They were on the ball with emails and offered the discount without me even having to ask! Now the hard part...:tumble:
Yep. I got my first one from them. Also have a black on pre order there. Subtank Supply is a great place!
Coincidentally, I also ordered another black from eciggity, which shipped today!

Definitely stays cool. I like the DT a lot.

They have the black in stock now, I grabbed one of each from them. Also have a 'long time' order steeping with FT so added another SS to that since they will offer 15% off sale on Sunday 29th.

Now to find some DT's with style and color to sweeten the pot-any idea's there?

I have no idea what it means, but I'm glad you're enjoying your Merlin! ;)

And thank you for the wicking tutorial!

If the Kayfun 5 is like the other Kayfuns
The Merlin will blow them away as to flavor ease of build
I didnt think anything could beat my kayfuns for flavor and ease of build

I have to say I was wrong

Well I have to chime in here. I just received my k5 today. I've had my Merlin for a couple of days now. Both are phenomenal RTA's in their own right. I'm a single coil fanatic and both of these tanks offer the easiest single could builds on the market. They wick very similarly as well. No problems there. Very smooth vape on each. So now to the biggest difference in my humble opinion. I got the Merlin thinking I wanted to go back to MTL vaping. It's been awhile and I found that I'm more into restrictive DTL instead. That being said my experience with the Merlin is that it offers the perfect restrictive lung hit in its wide open state. I could not achieve what I considered the tight MTL I remembered from my nautilus days on the Merlin. Now the K5 on the lowest airflow setting gave what I consider to be the perfect MTL hit. In its most open state you can do a restrictive lung hit and although smooth it's not as satisfying as the Merlin. In summary all things being equal except price point. If your looking for the ultimate MTL experience but with room to grow the kayfun 5 would be my pick. If you like a more airy mtl or a perfect restrictive DTL hit them the Merlin wins. These are just my personal opinions for what it's worth.
