I used that coupon code for other tanks back then. Before I heard of the Merlin. Those tanks were short lived... They are now in my stash of un-used vape gear.

Hey, that code is not just for tanks, I've used it for mods, too. If the price looks too high, I give the code a try. If it doesn't work, I wait. :p

Well you guys were right - it was waiting for me when I got home :)

All wicked up and vaping nicely at 0.8ohms with 30W. Unfortunately it appears to have a minor fault... The edge of the deck seems to be either deformed or too large, meaning it only slots in and screws on in one position, and it's tricky to actually put together. One of the posts is also bent in, but not a big deal. Not the end of the world, but might contact STS to let them know.

Post a close up photo of your deck when you get a chance. Thanks

Too late - I fixed it :) there was a slight deformity at one of the juice holes on the deck, causing it to flare out slightly at that point. A careful squeeze with a pair of long nosed pliers pushed it back in. Just a machining (or possibly drilling/punching) issue I'm guessing.

I'll get a pic of the post at some point, but looking at others on here it seems pretty common.

Quick query to other owners - from fully screwed in to JFC fully open, is it about a quarter turn of the tank? And do you notice that the tank has a slight amount of play when fully open?

*edit* ignore me, I'm an idiot. Because it was so stiff before I didn't realise it was adjustable by screwing in. Perfectly fine now.

I'm not sure what you just said (exactly) but I think I was doing the same thing when I first got mine together. I had to break out the directions. In other words, I was adjusting the JC by turning the tank on/off the base with it's threads.

I was speaking about the card under the Vape band. I just cut one and placed it in between the 510 pin and the mod. AF/JF turn as they should.
I do agree that it's a rock solid other than the issue I had opening and closing while attached to my mods.

What material did you use to cut a spacer? Cool idea!

Sky, think if his situation, he's probably taking the parts from one that he can't sell now. He's just trying to cover shipping. I don't know, I'm just thinking about his mess. I heard he's checking each tank he has in inventory and even spent the night in his office after an all nighter.

    I sympathize w/the buyer & the vendor.
Augvape should step up to the plate!

That is true. I'm sure there would be no shortage of people on the UK forums wanting to buy one... Hmmmmm.
I remember the guy who ordered it said they were really happy dealing with Augvape through Alibaba & took only five days to the UK think it came out to $20 each with the shipping.

Replacing the decks is as much as any other manufacturer would do, more then many, I'd say they have.

Most vendors take care of customers without adding fees, @1000 piece price these things wholesale under $10 If Subtank Supply hasn't already considered the cost of screwups into the profit then they should have. Personally I feel asking me to pay an additional cost to get what I already paid for is not the best choice.

Hell even Fasttech will ship you your replacements for bad items without charging . I'd also be surprised if Eciggity charges to fix this issue like Subtank has chosen to do.

I'm not happy at all about the $2.45 I'm expected to send to SubtankSupply to just get what I paid for. The dollar amount isn't bothersome, but the customer service is. I even asked if he would just include the replacement with a new order, My choice but in the future I will no longer purchase from them.
and since I had 2 more Merlins, and 2 RDAs in my cart it has already cost him more then the $2.45 I have to eat.
