Confirmed. So many button combos it's hard to keep track of them all.

Oops, late to the party. I haven't even updated my firmware yet (I know, lazy me), and haven't even played with TC all that much as I usually use my DNA mods for that (I like the software package for that for fine tuning). And yes, those are the TCRs for different materials for TC. The reason I like the DNA eScribe software is so I can set everything up without a dozen different button presses for every function. There are a few mods with touch screens already out, but none that seem to have captured much attention other than for the touch screen feature.

Back to the Merlin. It's working really well. I've been using Kanthal as I've just been messing around with stuff, but will rebuild with a 316L coil tonight. I have SS in all my other tanks except for this one, so it's time for the swap out. It remains my go to for reliable performance and flavor, but I've also been enjoying my others in between.

Do not buy efest. Buy Sony, Samsung, LG etc from a reputable source like Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More! or Earth's #1 source for IMR 18650 Batteries, Chargers, Cases & Wraps | IMRbatteries.com

I have 2 dozen batteries on hand all from those 3 manufacturers. 12 were bought a few months ago and 12 more recemtly from imr so I could have 4 married sets of 3 for my new triple battery mods.
I can do amazon also. So would something like this work? I would like a good high mAh if possible above 3k.

THIS! Really, for the extra dollar (and it might not even be that much) get a name brand battery from a reliable vendor like Illum. I have about a dozen Samsung 25R 20A green wrapped batteries, and it's just not worth the worry. Too many rewrapped overrated batteries on the market, as well as lots of counterfeit Samsung and LG batteries, which is why a well known supplier lie Illum is key. Check out the battery subforum under APV here for more info if you're interested, otherwise just buy them and be done.

Edit: lots of counterfeits on Amazon and eBay as well.

Yea, I just read the reviews I wouldn't have bought it anyway when I got around to reading that. But assuming I find a good review non counterfeit battery from amazon what are the reliable brands? Sony, Samsung, Lg?

That's what I'm thinking. Touchscreen mods coming soon? I hope.

smok G-priv just announcd a few days ago. Seems like it would be a huge battery drain though using touchscreen. Well i was thinking the actual fire button would also be touchscreen. I find a touchscreen mod not to appealing for my tastes.

Lol I was thinking a little Lot smaller than that. That is just a phone duck tapped to a mod. lol. Maybe a small touchscreen like a smart watch size. Just big enough to slide your fingers to swipe through a menu.

Any of those three are fine. Do be careful even on Amazon. Amazon certainly doesn't want to sell a counterfeit, but the third party sellers they process for are not always as reliable as you might hope. Batteries are one of the few areas of vaping I get very OCD about and only trust actual battery vendors rather than multi-product vendors. A bad or counterfeit battery can really ruin your day.

Yea, I hear you on that. I am a major Amazon prime user. I have probably spent WAY too much money on there over the last 8 years. But returns with them are real easy provided it is an actual prime product. I always read reviews before I buy so that helps.

Actually, with OLED screens, power requirements are very low, especially with black backgrounds.
