Lol I am experienced at building Kanthal only coils. I have never messed with clapton, Titanium, Stainless, or nickel wires. I had a lavatube with the Kayfun 3.1 Since I started vaping and I couldn't build a coil under 1.2 ohm with the Lavatube.

Hi Roxy! I hope you are peeking in once in awhile to check on talk of your babies. I cleaned up on a Merlin sale, and have enough to last my lifetime now. LOVE this atomizer.
Roxy is no longer a member here. And on the other ecig forum there is a Merlin thread, but after a not so great review, by someone that was getting into troll territory, she stopped monitoring that thread, so maybe over there you can find a way to PM her.
Any wire type should work just fine, if you get into titanium wire then you should look up the threads dedicated to its proper use on this forum.
I didn't really like the notch coils, but to each their own.
My favorites so far have been the continuous dual vertical and the inception.
Both gave crazy good flavor and I build almost exclusively with 316L now as I can use temp control if I so choose.

I already found some videos. I just wanted to know if anyone on here had pictures of their Titanium coil builds in this tank. Then I can get a better Idea of the spacing. The Merlin build deck is nice, Much bigger than the Kayfun, but still a short distance apart on the post.
Anyway Off to jury duty, to uphold my civilian duty.

Specs on the inception was 17/18 wraps of 26g 316L on a 1/16 bit for the inner, 4/5 wraps 24g 316L on a 7/32 bit for the outer. Wick between the 2 coils and make sure there is gaps in the tails for the inner coil to breath through the middle.

Great price for a tank that is easy to coil and has the best flavor.
I find that I use less liquid with mine. I was vaping 4 to 6ml a day with my kayfuns. With the Merlin's, I'm under 4ml a day.
Thanks for the tip. My second Merlin is on the way. SS this time.... Had trouble at times seeing through smoked glass and juice holes so I switched to backup clear tank. This is my favorite RTA over Serpent Mini, Aromamizer Supreme, and Mage.... though I just ordered my second Mage yesterday. Think it's time to stop now. [emoji3]

Swap the chimney and glass between your SS and black merlons when it arrives. I did that then PIF'd the reverse one to a buddy. SS chimney, clear glass, and black top/bottom looks so good.
Correction. I kept the tinted glass with my setup, but swapped the spares between each set for variety.
