It coils just like the UD Bellus, my first RTA. A little tricky, but not too bad. Leave the legs long, then bend them back to hold coil #1 more-or-less in place while you insert the legs for coil #2. Bend those back too, then put the screws down, and use a rod to tweak the coil positions during final tightening.
I asked about this on the dedicated thread. @r055co has been testing a pre-production sample, and he said it really wasn't a problem.

I've been vaping on it for a while and I'm really liking it, so much so I ordered a Black and a Gold one, should get them sometime this week. As for Daniel's complaint about liquid in his mouth, it hasn't been an issue for me. But I do enjoy a moist Vape, not one to sucking down juice but his complaint about juice everytime in his mouth, hasn't been an issue with me at all.

I am also a Bellus Vet and once you get that tank down everything else seems fairly easy.
Cmon Rick! Building and wicking is a fun art. Everything can't be an easy peasy two post or velocity style. That would be dull!
I like the easy way these days... easy coil, wick and refill. That's why I love my Engines so much.

This is exactly why I started looking for another tank. It's weird though. I've been using the Merlin today for the first time in two weeks or so and it's not leaking at all.
I kind of miss the Merlin. I tried two of the four I bought and both seeped from the bottom after a little while. I was thinking about getting another new one out to see if it seeps.

I've wicked and coiled 5,000 different setups. I don't have time for a finicky POS.
I haven't tried the mini. I saw there was a good deal on it the other day and thought about it but didn't order one.
They all are going to eventually seep. Its a flaw that the Merlin should have never made it off the drawing board. It cost Augvape my business and probably lots of others who will never buy augvape products again.
The mini is designed somewhat better with screw in base(s) but you do trade the seeping and having to break the glass to get it apart for circular gouge rings around your mod when refilling the mini and it torquing onto your hitter with every refill from retightening the topcap.
I've moved on to the OBS engine single and dual coils. Looks like there is no place to leak outside of the base for the coils/posts and that appears to be solidly designed. And of course no air flow from bottom.

So far I'm having good luck with the engine nano and engine mini. I loved the flavor I got from the merlin but the seeping got bad enough that I finally got sick of it.
The mini does not seep, and if you use mod savers, as I do on all my mods, you won't have scratches or gouging!
I think I saw the same deal too and skipped it. I just don't like small capacity tanks. I love going a full day without refilling.
