well..gennys started out mostly using a rolled ss mesh wick..latter on ss cable with a mesh sock was experimented with and some people say that ss cable wicked better than a rolled mesh wick..I don't agree, but cable was alot more convinient than building a mesh wick.There are alot of different ways to build a mesh wick and I think a well built mesh wick can wicks better than cable or ss rope wicks. mesh remains by far the most popular wicks for gennys.
Had to blow the dust off the Todd review from 2014... I like the curved chamber in that top cap, it would be better than the Sat22.

that Sat you got there doesn't look like the one I know...yours looks like the top cap is 22mm but I remember the Sat I had was like a 16 mm top cap
