Bristow, Ok.
I went to Ace today and they had a sale. I bought some Nevr-Dull, Maas and some Cape Cod metal polishing cloths. I already had some Noxon. Well after testing all four the Cape Cod polishing cloths worked better for me. It was easier and had a nice smell. They are pre-moistened clothes in a little zip pouch. I was surprised that they worked the best but they did. It was pretty cheap too. I will likely still use my jewelry cloths for a daily wipe though.

Thanks for that Stormy... the polishing cloth does work pretty darn good for that daily wipe down. I will have to try this new one though. Maas huh?

My favorite is the Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths. I got those at Ace. They are different than the silver cloths. They come in either a foil pouch or in a can. I got the pouch with 2 cloths. They are vanilla scented. They are really easy to use. Not a lot of elbow grease or mess. :)

Off to Ace Hardware again...better print out more cards! :w00t:

When I was there last week the person helping me asked why I wanted the Nevr Dull. Since I love opportunities to share vaping, I pulled out my GGTS and proceded to demonstrate. Needless to say, I ended up handing out 3 of my self-made vaping cards.

Yeah, Niceeee....

Thats the problem with a lot of metal polish, you get that black ick stuff ...can get very messy and lots of elbow grease. I'll have to check out those cape cod cloths.

Cool deal... just ordered me up some of those bad boys... got a tin with 12 for $12 bucks. That should last me a life time and maybe my kids life time as well...hahha....

Probably so. I hope it works for you as well as it does for me. The hardest part to shine for me is the button. The other cleaners didn't do as well on the button as this does. The cloths are pretty wet and the liquid is thin so it really gets into the grooves on the side of the button. Mine looks like Mist's now. :):):)

Results of the Cape Cod polishing cloths. These things work great. They remind me of the Never Dull wadding stuff but the cloths are like felt and they are saturated well. It gets down into the grooves of the button very well and leaves a nice protective coating behind to help keep the tarnish from coming back so soon. I just got my can of 12 cloths today and shined up all my devices with it quickly and easily. And the cloths were all I used on them too. No real hard buffing just wipe on and rub off. So simple..... You need to wear the latex gloves that come with them though. Just check out the shine they put on my Trans. Amazing and very good find there Stormy!!! Thanks again!!!!!

i also just realized there is an uneven black blob surrounding the 801 atomizer threads on my GGTS, anyone else have this? is this tarnish? is it a seal?

if it is tarnish, how do i polish in this tiny space? can i remove the atomizer thread piece? thanks

You should be able to carefully remove the entire threaded portion by using a socket on the underside of the cap. Vapn's done his, but I haven't managed to get mine off since I can't access my decent tools at the moment.....

I remember when that was cursing. I'm reporting you to a mod. Lisa do you remember those days?
hehehehe, noooooooooo, I am far too young to remember that.
