I've been shooting for 3.0 ohm coils just rebuilding pro tank style coils for max battery life using a Puck.
Here's what's been working:

34 gauge Nichrome N80
8 wraps
1.4 mm jeweler's screwdriver
3.0 ohms

I've started using organic cotton too and I like!
