Here's how I set mine up. I rotated the positive screw so the holes are pointing in the direction I want. I build my coils with the legs pointing > and <. Work on the positive post first, and adjust the coils to the desired height. Then bend the legs to reach the deck and screw the negative end of the coils.

Here's the end result, not perfect but good enough for me.

i didn't have to rotate my positive screw, but they positive post has holes in it so it shouldn't be a problem getting your wire through from each side

here's how mine is currently set up

i've tried it with vertical and horizontal coils, and they both seem pretty good

i recommend using 1 continuous wick so the wells are drained evenly

using drill bits to position the coils like player one did helps a lot when screwing the posts down and maintaining your coil's shape and position

How did you rotate the positive screw? Thought it wasn't adjustable

It's adjustable to a certain extent. If you loosen the nut that holds the positive screw, you can adjust it. I am able to put both coil legs through the hole on the positive screw. I am using 27 ga by the way with room to spare.
