Mike had his procedures done today..the look at the back of the heart showed no clots and no damages! His sinus rhythm went back to normal after one shock! So far it has stayed that way. He looks pinker and somebody shaved him! But he lost part of his eyebrows (outside corners) ????? Nobody gives that bad a shave.
Tomorrow they will take him off the respirator and bring him up from the drugged sleep. I just want to see his eyes again!

That sounds good MK,except for the eyebrows,WTH! I hope your doing okay,You must be so stressed out.(((Hugs))) We are here for you. Im so glad your keeping us posted because I keep worrying about you and Mike. Try to get some rest.

Eyebrows ! ?? Had they taped his eyes closed when he was out ? Or shaved places for monitor hook-ups ?

Classy, I think it's where the C-pap machine rubbed him..If that's the worst damge they do to him I will learn to love spock looking eyebrows!
Just a short note today. I just walked in the door,The hospital is less then a mile away.) We were at the hospital from 8am to 2pm waiting for Mike to be taken off the ventilator. They did 5 patients today and it seems Mike was last. He was off for a few seconds and couldn't take a breath..his airways are still too swollen. We will try again in the AM.. He has been resedated and is resting well. They did say last night was fairly rough on him as he has so much mucus in the lungs from the infection. They will try to feed him by the nose tube tonight..they need to be careful he doesn't aspirate it into his lungs.
That's it for now...long ,long week! I am cleaning the house bit by bit..the kids will tear Mikes room down and get it all clean and smelling fresh. I am not looking forward to telling him this is a non smoking house....talk about pitching a fit! LOL If he gives me grief I will ship his .... to Hank's house! Hank is Mike's younger brother for those who don't know Mike's family..they are out in the wilds of Ca. in the forbidden desert.

Nope..he is doing better but they will keep trying to ween him off the respirator. Tonight he is laying in bed, sleeping through the game..how is that different from every other year? Ok the onion dip is not given down the nose and the monitors don't normally drown out the game!
