This is why I love Cerakote.....These were done with zero prep and two coats and then into the oven @150* for two hours.

These were some other projects over the weekend. Sorry the pics kind of suck. The green ones are Duracoat zombie green cleared with Cerakote high gloss clear. The Black is HOK black base and then silver marbalizer with Cerakote high gloss clear. Wish I would have put a couple coats of regular clear before the Cerakote clear to give it that deep look.

So I am using the wrong solder "no lead"????

I use the Kester 245 WITH LEAD type myself.
This stuff says "NO CLEAN" meaning that the flux in the core (theoretically) doesnt need to be cleaned afterwards.

This is fantastic! Great action on the buttons, solid connection, feels great in the hand. I only have one problem... I now need three more! or a couple of SxS models..
