nobody was able to order 5 in this co-op

Only if he bought them through the co-op, which I find doubtful. The co-op maxed out at 3 mods per person. If he got 5 through the co-op then he had to have someone to help him.
A strong possibility is that he bought them off of Shapeways directly before Bap pulled them from Shapeways. In which case he isnt doing anything against any rule that I know of.
we had some co-op members who never reported back after receiving their mods - maybe they got intimidated once they looked at it and sold them?
there is no rule against selling stuff from a co-op but if you sell it on ecf you cannot ask for more than what you paid for. if they are being sold on fb no such rule exists.

The swirls look awesome! I have been wanting to do that for a while...Yours look like you had some practice or just have a natural talent.

Haha...more luck than anything. I did a couple of tests the week before. That two were my first and second ever actual paint projects done with swirl. Basically said screw it....here we go...lol. Did learn a lot more from doing those. Doesn't take a lot of paint, the hell with thinner and stick to 3 or 4 colors max as it skins over too fast by not thinning....so work fast.
Anyway thanks and I appreciate the first guy who posted this swirl paint method as I had never heard of it till then.

Thanks. Wonder how much I can sell it for on Facebook now??? Haha.....This mod will probably never ever leave my house except on rare occasions and in a pouch then. I love it.
I cant tell on the Tibs because of the lighting, but the jonniemac job looks like you got complete coverage and nice effects on the entire device. I watched some of those youtube videos and half of them arent nearly as good as those.
mine became my permanent backup when I have to charge batteries in my home made device. it's now like a security-blanket for me

OK, saw the post. These are Shapeways Mods, NOT Tibs2 Co-op Mods. You can tell by the logo. It doesnt say Tibs, it only says Bap.
Also, considering Bap approved my entrance to the group, I would assume he is an owner or at least highly placed in the group, and certainly very aware of the situation.
In any event, it is not ECF related at all, no ECF rules were broken.
Consider yourselves lucky, you all got a heck of a deal on the Tibs, apparently others are paying $200+ for one!

yup! it's all good! just managed to get back on fb and to the classifieds and those are definitely not 'tibs by bap'

Well thanks again. Here are some more pics of the Tibs mod. Even though it started with a grey background (haha, aluminide dulled to grey by poly), I also used gloss grey in the swirl paint. So they are both 100% covered from what I can tell as the skin wrapped around them very well. I made some homemade play-doh, filled them solid, put them together so the pattern would be consistent and had a coat hanger running into the play-doh (uncolored boring play-doh). The skin covered all the holes where the play-doh was smoothed into the holes. Had to trim that back out.
Sorry, these pics suck as all I am using is my phone camera. Personally I think it looks way better in person. In the first pic, the logo seems almost faded, when in fact is doesn't look that way at all in person (which is weird). I painted that after the swirl but before the 5 or 6 coats of poly.
