This isn't a "Mike n Tibs" so hopefully you don't mind. I haven't posted much in quite a while and thought some of you would like to see a picture of the latest dna mod I put together on Sunday. Kind of looks like an Orange Creamsicle! CLT version 2 rda on top ... I like the CLT but have been preferring the Mutation X for dripping lately.

Here it is next to a Hana for scale, it's about a centimeter taller.

Just got one of those, loving the form factor so far. Pretty easy to build, too, very well thought out.

Still waiting on shapeways to finish a set of buttons on my second one, though...

Glad you like it ... I just finished a new dual 18650 design and will hopefully have the test print around the middle of the month.

Mike
Not that I need them but on both my Tibs mods the ohms are now reading 0.0
Is there a fix for this, if you know?
Reckon a wire came unsoldered, if so , which one?
Everything else works fine

From what I hear this has been occasionally reported by others on both the DNA20 and DNA30 and there is a fix. I will ask some folks.

Speaking of that... Mike what connectors do you use in your lipos? Ive been meaning to ask you as i have the same ohm problem on mine and draining/recharging that lipo would take a week....

I use the EC2 connectors. They are nice and small and have been gracious stout enough for the DNA30s.

OK, here are the two solutions I have heard:

  1. Traditionally, disconnecting the battery has always been the fix.
  2. If you can't remove the battery just let it run down till the display will no longer light up and then charge it back up...

Here is a third solution that was passed on to me by someone who is knowledgeable IMHO. Use at your own risk.....

if it's a DNA 30 you can turn up to 25+w, short the connector, and fire.
